  • dude this is way dope. love this shit you be uploading, thank you ~

  • massive Attack n PP ,fine style

  • Pharoahe Monch and Prince Po need to get back together

  • Its all about KOOL G RAP

  • @420SMOKEIT420 Prince Po is right there with G. Rap, Rakim, Pharoahe Monch, Big Daddy Kane Kane, Black Thought, Percee P, DOOM. and all other ATGs

  • Im currently discussing a feature from Po and this dude is hands down one of the realest emcees out there. A gentleman, a professional, an inspiration. Support real hip hop. Search DUNCE THE EMCEE !!!

  • Got that stinkin' funky bassline!!

  • this beat is amazing

  • PEOPLE STILL SLEEP 2 THIS

  • ♥

  • Yo how long ago did they do that song together, was it recently, & do you have a sample of it? I'm anxious to hear it! By the way, thanks for the info, I will try to investigate. I appreciate it very much! :)

  • Well idk if it's uploaded on here, but the original version only has Prince Po from the album "Saga of the Simian Samurai" which he did with producer TomC3 I think, and it's called Then and Now, or Now and Then... But THAT version is already out... I'm guessing the remix with Monch will have the same beat and maybe the same verse from Po... Po posted on his myspace that they had finished the track maybe 4-6 months ago... They DO haave plans to release it though, I'm just not sure when.

  • Yo, dis song iz BANGIN! PRINCE PO B KILLIN SHIT! I thought PHAROAHE MONCH was a little bit better in O.K. However, I think PRINCE POETRY iz much better as a solo artist! I wonder why PRINCE hasn't done a track wit PHAROAHE on 1 of his solo jointz. GOD SEND was their last MASTERPIECE KLASSIK song together on INTERNAL AFFAIRZ! I want more, I miss O.K. CRUSH, KILL, DESTROY, STRESS!!!! ;)

  • Tehy did a new song together called "Now and Then" or "Then and Now", i forget... but it's a remake of one of Prince Po's solo tracks which Pharoahe heard and wanted to jump on... the track is still unreleased though...

  • PRINCE PO is the ILLEST!!!!

  • Nice Massive attack sample.

  • I'm pretty sure he says "I used to smoke and drink with Pac, but it seems like a dream"... Pac as in 2Pac, they knew each other.

  • @Agenda1988 Yep he does, pac gave props 2 OK on his track representin' '93...

There was also a show where pac was rappin on stage with both Tha Alkaholiks and Org Konf > crazy bit true!

  • Oh word? I knew about the shout out in "Representin 93" and also Prince Po shouts out Pac and Money B in the "Walk Into The Sun" Remix back from 93, but I didn't k now anything about a show... tell me more, tell me more! Please!

    I'm an OK fiend, Monch is my fave rapper, and Pac is my 2nd fave rapper, so I'm curious to know more about this show and how you know all this ;}

  • See now i didn't know about Po shoutin pac out til now, i just listened to it. Yep monch is still waaaaay over most ppl's heads & can't even b compared right? I read about that crazy show in an article from vibe or xxl, where 1 of pac's friends was writing about how he didn't think pac could come back from jail n achieve anything, pac even offered him the opportunity 2 get on stage with him but the guy declined > then pac jumped on stage with OK n Alkaholiks. I think that was in about '93-'94

  • In fact, in google type in:

"Kool G Rap: These Are Our Heroes"

"2pac wanted to work with the wu"

  • ^ 2pac had collaborated with every1 from Guru, Biggie, OK, Alkaholiks, Queen Lat, Naughty b N,Freddie Foxxx, Big D Kane, Krs, Ice cube, Mc Eiht, WC, Bone Thugz, G Rap, Wu tang, EPMD, Nice n Smooth, Keith Murray, Tha Luniz, Redman, Boot Camp, Jodeci, Jon B...and that's just the ones I remember!!!

  • Oh ok, and I remember Pac was doin a project with Buckshot before he died called One Nation that had Greg Nice, Kane, BIG and a shitload of other East Coast cats. Plus he was in the movie Juice and mad hip-hop legends were in that movie so he hadda connect with them all on set. I actually read once that he wanted to leave Death Row and start a label and he wanted to sign the Wu and Kane first. there's also a tiny skit on Masta Killa's album where Pac shouts out the Wu lol...

  • Nah biggie was never supposed 2 b on it tho, he was specifically making that album without badboy but ur right about having shit loads of other east coast ppl on like Greg, kane, buck, smif n wesson, run dmc, wu, gangstarr, heltah skeltah etc etc. another funny story was about him being asked by versace, valentino & armani 2 model for them in italy in '96, so he went along with his fiance n bodyguard n actually stayed in versace's own castle...yep, his big ass castle!!

  • In his interview he said after taking pics with donnatella (versace's sis) he wanted to crash a D&G show but wasn't allowed so they went to valentino's show instead...he then, apparently, disappeared off into the castle with 2 hot models from Armani's show lol! That was in frank alexander's book, who i'm sure u know used 2 be his bodyguard. Crazy stuff!

  • lol I'm telling ya they gotta make a movie about all these stories, ha.

  • As selfish and Pac-centric as it sounds though, I wish they would make a movie where they just interviewed people who knew Pac and just filmed them telling stories about him, lol... like G Rap and Pac shooting their guns in LA during the riots... lol that' shit's awesome... thatnks for the heads up on those articles.

  • Good thing I can type cuz after listening to this I can't talk!! Damn Poe!! Why you bitch slapping fuckas like that?

  • da god move silently,..

  • SICK WORDPLAY

  • This is close to being one of my favourite prince tracks

thank god i got it on that promo tape too. shits so fuckin intense!!!

My question anyone is where is the beat from cos i just heard some woman on tv singing over the same sample don't know if its the original or not?

  • Its sad when emcees are slept on by the mainsteam (personally I'm use to it) but when dope emcees are slept by the "underground' it upsets me. Thats why hiphop is dead comments are bullshit 2 me. if u aint signed on def jux or rhymesayers (which are both dope labels) you are not going 2 be heard even by the so called "underground".......sad

  • WORD MAN!!! This one's super lyrical and super slept on.

  • I feel ya!!!!!!

  • its one thing when emcees are slept on by the mainstream, personally i'm used to it. But when emcees are slept on by the undaground it really upsets me. Thats why the hiphop is dead comments are bullshit 2 me. This kat should be more known and he has like 3 solo albums since organized kunfusoin, but if u aint on def jux or rhyme sayers (both good are lables) u aint gonna be heard even in the undaground........sad

  • he must be like 40 now.

  • Nice. Po can flow.

  • yessss doooope

  • That B-line is ssssick, as per usual, the Prine Is on point, musicaly and lyrically.
