per is geet mein garhwal ka adhik ehsaas nahi mila - na to besh bhusha, na hi garhwal ke dhol damoaun.. yeh ladki ne kapde bhi garhwali nahi pehne.. aur sangeet mein sitar bhi baja diya.. arre sitar kahan bajta hai.. garhwal ki asli sanskriti pehchaano bhaaiyon!

when sitar played in narendra sings song why you dont think it was not like garhwali?my friend people need changes and it should be!!!!!! indian sangeet ka base hi sitar hai.so what it is appriciate it.

@pyar108 I don't normally hear sitar in Negi Ji's songs. If you are well aware of instruments used in Garhwal, then sitar never appeared there. We had dhol, damaon, and even bag piper. Different regions of India offered different instruments and sounds - Kashmir has santoor and rabaab. I don't doubt that people need changes. But if you temper a culture with too much changes, you lose the authenticity. And Indian music's base in sitar, it's tanpura.

@rajeevgiitg if u dont, then listen it carefully in songs,you wil hear sitar there in some of songs.for ur kind of knowledge that tanpura is only use for support to vocalist....and sitar is for make some melody along with song,in intro or stanza or need of song.and rabaab is not from kashmir.........this is from afganistan and playes there only.and u can find changes of culture in u only dont think so far of it! authenticity is base but derivation is the present time.
