Have you seen 明日の記憶　(it was titled "Memories of Tomorrow" in English) with Ken Watanabe? It was a movie about Alzheimer's disease. I bawled my eyes out for a good portion of the movie and most of the way home.

Miyako Dori was a person then? Seems like he did something out of the ordinary, considering they say: thanks Miyako Dori, thanks. A nice video in that contest, reminded me of me hearing that Swedish doctors have made a medicine which is supposed to take away the cause for Alzheimer. That's great, hope it actually works also.

I looked it up, just so I don't give false hopes. The paper says some resource results from the Uppsala University could, in some years, lead to a medicine which has the potential to keep the Alzheimers decease to develop, worsen.
