I watched the latest Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy film several days ago and couldn't help thinking that there was something in the musical score that reminded me of another film. Finally it registered. Check out the similarity between this beautiful piece of music and Alberto Iglesias piece at around the 30 second mark. It comes in again after 3 minutes. I wonder if there was influence? Spartacus lives!!

what a film this is. first scene it when i was about 10 with my dad...even today its brilliant..it stands the test of time. And what a great picture montage and the music is so moving...

i wonder if they will ever remake it...but with its cast then i will doubt it it will be as good.

I cant help thinking tho the the slave army committed their forces to quickly in the final battle!

Il incarne l'esclave qui va jusqu'au bout de sa condition en faisant trembler l'écrasante Rome. Avec ses frères qui le suivirent il forma une micro résistance.
