Im still surprised almost 5 months since i last watched this video that it has so few view's this is one of the Gems on youtube that you should always keep and eye out for its always sad when something so good gets passed over

I can only assume view count is the nature of the YouTube beast, or else aggressive "marketing..." Some videos go semi-to-full viral, and others just kinda sit. I always hope mine will go viral, but so far no luck. Any suggestions on how to get more views?

@fireandchutes77 Best I can say is to try and send it around to friends and hope for word of mouth or try submitting to AMV contests this would get my vote if it were entered cant say much past that my best vid only has 2500 views or so lol

Brilliant piece of work. After Otohiko's "The Wasteland" this is THE best Eva AMV I've had the pleasure to watch and rewatch. Immaculate editing, perfect song choice, smooth flow, this vid's got it all. Thank you for making and sharing this treasure. ^_^

Thank you very much for such high praise. :) I think I stumbled into good video editing, because I've always taken taken as a basic tenet/for granted that the video and transitions should follow the beat of the song whenever possible... And then I came on YT and found, ahaha, a *lot* of people don't do that. XD O_o Thank you again! I'll have to check out "Wasteland."

@KajiCarson Do you think you'd be able to review my second Eva video, "(Help) Is On the Way"? Comparing the two side-by-side, I think I prefer the slower beat and general geist of this video, but I like the way I've advanced my editing techniques in the second, and I'm interested in your opinion. :)

Woooohoooow! You've really stepped up your game, haven't you? :D This is truly the best video you've done thus far, and one of the best Evangelion AMVs I have ever seen (and this is coming from someone who gets sent alot of them by my hardcore mecha friend).

This has convinced to finally give Evangelion a shot too; I ripped the Rebuild movie to my hard drive ages ago, but never was inspired enough to watch it and the series. *feels bad* But now I see something epic in this show, at last! ^^

RE: "give Eva a shot": Yaay! I found it a highly fascinating, moving series... Very weird, but good. (I'm finding that starting with "GitS" was A Good Idea.) I just saw "ReBld" for the first time yesterday, too. Very pretty, but I like the pacing/voicework of the series more.

That, 'Chutes, was not only your best video yet, but it is possibly the best AMV I have ever seen. Your ambition may be to be an engineer, but I'll be damned if I don't tell you that you have an incredible gift for the arts. I mean . . . Wow that was cool.

I can't wait to see what you have in store after seeing Rebuild. I can only picture it as truly being worthy of the word awesome.
