  • I love Wicked Tinkers, but why do bands like this always seem to attract pasty old white women who like to dance like they're young and exotic, and think people actually want to see them move like that?

  • I was a few feet away from the stage when this show happened. The Tinkers are best seen live.

  • not a didgeridoo, is a bronze age horn...There is a difference.

  • @Theelderdragon01 if it plays like a didg and sounds like a didg it is a didg ! brother.

  • Love the lady with the finger cymbals! Great to see bellydancing with Scottish tribal music! Wonderful idea!

  • Who frickin' cares CJ made me blush when he was playing next to me in the crowd...he is SO TALENTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Who is C.J.? What happened rto Jay Atwood?

  • Aye, Ladies from Hell Scots/Irish were called 'back in the day.' Ha, Real men, kilted, always are my fave. Great music, wonderful friends & patriotism works for me, aye? Savvy!

  • hes using a electronic looper (i saw them yesterday)

  • To answer your question, hartness, he's using loop pedals to record what he plays, and he can then start and stop the desired clips by tapping the associated switches. It's definitely an art to master live looping.

Wicked Tinkers rock - thanks for sharing the vid!

  • This is the kind of music id want to hear before battle

  • @Colton5 Aye! We may need it sooner than later.

  • Great clip, but who's playing the didge when C.J. isn't?

  • I don't know.

  • @barbh1 He's using like a midi loop pedal. They're really cool. I have one and use it with my guitar. :)

  • @barbh1

He's got a looping pedal. It records what he plays, then plays it back when he hits a switch.

  • @hartness57 it sounds like a loop effect, where he played, then recorded it, and set it on playback

  • @hartness57 I believe he is using a loop pedal to build the layers

  • @hartness57 He's using a foot peddle sound board that records what he does, and plays it back. That way he can layer his music. Like a one man band. :)

  • @hartness57 Maybe he is using a loop machine?

  • @hartness57

He is using a foot loop. He is doing it the whole time, he just is recording a loop as he is playing it, plays back and plays the next section at the same time. So that is why it looks like he is not once in a while. This is one of the few songs that you will see that in.

  • ==))====>  10* thanks and hug you
