I really don't think she cheated on Shane. I think it was more or less to let Shane know how she felt when Shane did that to her. Her reaction (Carmen's) to the whole "confession" that she cheated on Shane was a bit too stiff and unemotional.
This really pissed me off that they had Carmen cheat on Shane like who over 15 would do something like that.. I still liked them as a couple but this could have been left out..
this is a clear cut example of why they were a terrible couple. It's pretty sad you need to cheat out of revenge for someone cheating on you. If they were a good couple there wouldn't have been any cheating at all.
Hence it was doomed from the start, don't get me wrong they were a good looking couple but there characters just didn't go well together. Carmen was too commited to the relationship & Shane wasn't at all. Throw in insecurity, possessiveness, and jealousy and the whole thing is doomed. It's unfortunate but true.
this scene broke my heart but made me pissed as hell. After Carmen threw such a bitch fit over shane cheating she goes & cheats herself? ugh there were times i really couldn't stand carmen but she still didn't deserve what shane did to her
