  • THAT MUD MASK IS AMAZING! :)

  • Does anyone know if the test tube is still available at QVC? I went to the link but it says its no longer available. Wasn't sure if I need to look in a different area. Please advise.

  • you uploaded this on my birthday!!!!!:)

  • aw I really want this test tube thing! I'll have to keep checking back for it...

  • Your tan and hair look great. :))

  • Your hair looks REALLY pretty here!!! :)

  • haha the two top comments are two completely opposite opinions

  • My hair is normally on the dry side, but Wen somehow managed to leave my hair looking greasy, which is not a problem I have with using regular, non-cleansing conditioners for the same purpose (I shampoo once a week or so, condition the other days). So, personally I'm not a huge fan of Wen, but if it works well for you, get the full size!

  • hey emily, if you like wen I think you might want to try the new L'Oreal Cleansing Conditioner. I had been intrigued by Wen, so when I saw this new L'Oreal product at Target I jumped on it (and I think it's only ~$7!). It's actually pretty nice, and it doesn't leave my hair feeling tangly or dry after I wash it. Just a thought.... might be a nice alternative to paying all of that money for Wen :)

  • I think i just found my new fav beauty guru! Thanks so much!

  • i find the smaller size mascara is usually better than the full size. weird.

  • her eyelashes look AHHHHHHMAZING!

  • is the test tube new every month

  • Wen sucks.

  • You look beautiful!

  • At first I was a little skeptical with Wen, but I have switched and will never go back to shampoo & conditioner. I've noticed a complete change on my hair on both strength and fullness. I would highly recommend it . I also use Macadamia Heating Oil afterwards.

  • Have you gotten the newest beauty test tube?

  • LOVE the anti-aging bronzer pads. Must check those out!

  • I have the Pacifica solid perfume in Tuscan Blood Orange. It smells delightful and I repurchased already so I never run out.

  • For those that are trying WEN or thinking of it... SALLYs Hair One...$11. Works exactly the same but without the membership and the expensive price tag!!!

  • @HurriedBeauty I'm with you on that one! I do not have the funds to shell out for Wen, even though it was a product that definitely caught my eye for a while. Just like you, I decided to try Hair One first in the little packets, and I can't look back to regular shampoo/conditioner. My hair has NEVER felt/looked this great since I was a child!!! My hair is THICK with ringlet curls and a wide wave with horrible frizz. Being on Hair One changed all of that. Definitely worth trying!!!

  • I use Wen every wednesday because i have oily hair so I pretty much use it as a deep conditioner and i save a lot and it does take me a very long time to go through a bottle.

  • the test tube sounds like the glam bag!

  • It's pronounced "bor-gay-zee" :)

  • Wen is a great product and it softens and hydrates my hair, however, the company and the people that work at Wen is AWFUL. The moment you purchase off their site, you are automatically a member without signing up or wanting to be a member. They bill you without your permission or knowledge and send you a second package maybe after a week or month after your first. Customers service is terrible and rude. So dont order off the site, get it some were else if you can.

  • i have that solid perfume in wakiki pikake, i love it, go on the pacifica site to find it, it is a really pretty floral scent, love it!

  • what are you wearing on your lips? i love the color

  • So late to this but I have never heard of this test tube! So gonna check it out! And lights, camera lashes is my alltime favorite Mascara. I've repurchased several times and I would have never thought id spend 20 bucks on Mascara. So worth it!

  • omg I want testtube so bad.. going to sign up in a couple weeks. I get Birchbox but this seems even better.

  • My experience with the Wen Cleansing Conditioner (in Sweet Almond Mint) was amazing. I went threw two bottles extremely fast though but it made my hair feel so soft and silky. I couldn't keep repurchasing because of the price and how much I use though. :"(

  • Thanks for the informative vid...i was on the fence about signing up...this has helped makeup my mind :D

  • Wen is awful

  • all in all i would say WEN is better and worth the little extra money. look for special deals and kits on qvc.

  • hey emily. just letting you and who ever else reads this know that i tried the "dupe" or generic version of the WEN hair cleansing conditioner that you recomended on one of your other videos called HAIR ONE from sally beauty supply store. and i have to say it does not compare to WEN. I feel like WEN works through my hair much better/easier while the HAIR ONE i felt like i needed much more product and it didnt work through my hair as well. smells great tho. and my hair did feel okay after.

  • WEN is very good, my kids and I use it and we love it:) I have been getting the full size for a while. It's worth it:)

  • please please please what colors are used on your eyes

    eyeshadows I mean

  • I love those solid perfumes! They don't have any unhealthy ingredients/ chemicals and they're really easy to carry around + good for travel!

  • Hey Emily : ) just responding to you about the WEN. I really like it! I know it is expensive, but heres what i do to make it last longer and not waste it...i wash my hair first with shampoo to get product and junk out of it. THEN i use the WEN. Kind of like using it as a conditioner i guess. I find that the WEN detangles and leaves my hair feeling and looking healthy and well moisturized. all in all i really like it and i think its worth using : ) hope this helps : )

  • emily, the borghese mask, if you haven't tried it yet, is AMAZING at drying up pimples and blackheads, as well as helping people with oily skin deslick their faces!

  • this is your 600 video :p

  • TRUST ME, WEN IS SOOO WORTH IT!!!!!!!

  • Hi! Emily,

What are your favorite beauty mags. or what magazines do you think focus more on beauty.

    Thanks!

  • Ordered the same one.as well as signing up for autodel on the future testtubes. Felt basically the same product for product as you.....though I really do like the Dalton glosses. I believe they are actually plumping ( gotta ck again) and they are actually named for the hostesses on QVC...just a lit tid bit. Thanks for the review!!

  • i think i'm going to have to get those tanning wipes. they look awesome.

  • I'm addicted to new beauty magazine :P every time I buy it I think it's so pricey but it gives me days of entertainment on the "new cutting edge products" ... and I end up buying it evey time there is a new one at the check out at target ^_^'

I was very curious about the test tube - thanks for the review

  • @bftsmmafacwht omg I thought I was the only one who noticed that.

  • You talk like sarah palen.

  • Wish I'd seen this video earlier so I could give you my input on Wen. I love the stuff. It can be tricky though, you have to use the right amount and really saturate your hair (especially the roots) with it, massage it in your scalp for a minute or two, comb through, leave it on for the rest of your shower then at the end of your shower rinse and rinse thoroughly! I dye my hair dark brown and the color looks richer and more vibrant, it has helped my hair out so much, its all i use now.

  • i got the tanner as a sample at sephora!

  • I liked your video, very nicely done. About the WEN product, I love it, and even though they say you have to use so much of it, I don't and my hair is curly so I need more, but a little goes along way with this product and now I don't use anything esle to wash my hair. My hair is more soft and more manageable since. Also, I use the FIG WEN, I also have the ALMOND MINT, it's good but the FIG for my hair type is better. And I got Lucky and Got the FIG WEN in my TEST TUBE!!!!

  • A note to all: After 3 months of disappointing BirchBoxs I've officialy unsubscribed!! Testtube looks awesome and I'm now awaiting my first... I'll say I was so excited for a monthly BirchBox and am more than disappointed it didn't work out...

    Testtube come to mommaaaaaa!!!!!!

  • Yay! Someone I'm subscribed to doing a review on something I'm thinking of getting. Are you familiar with birchbox? Ever tried it? If so, what are your thoughts on the birchbox vs. Test tube compared?

  • Sally beauty supply actually has a cleansing conditioner dupe for the wen and its so much cheaper than the wen. its exactly the same thing. :)

  • I have a WEN experience.. I'm a stylist and when I was working at one salon we had a client who was a natural blonde and wanted to have her hair a shade of brown. Long story short, she was using WEN shampoo's and conditioners and had been for a number of months and it had actually caused such a buildup on her hair (cuticle) that the color wouldn't take. We actually used the side of some shears to scrape some white buildup off of her hair. Maybe that will help anyone who's on the fence.

  • I LOVE Fango!

  • i just got mine today I can't wait to dive into it. Just like you I wanted it for Wen I got it in my as Tea Tree. I guess that is lisa robertson's favorite kind guess i will have to try it.

  • The price, as of May 28, is $32 plus $6.47 shipping and tax (for those who pay tax). For me had I purchased it from QVC it'd be over $41 which is more than getting a subscription to Test Tube directly from New Magazine. Least with the QVC box you know what you're getting before hand but still $39 to $41 is still pricey for "samples". Would you consider getting a subscription to them?

  • I wish we could get the Test Tube in Canada... :o(

  • My natural hair color Is just a bit lighter than yours. When I was in beauty school I completely bleached my hair and it got fried. My ends were horrible and there was so much breakage. I used Wen, and after a month my hair was better than it was before I bleached it! I continued to use it for about 6 months until I quit my job and couldn't afford the extra $30 every month to have it sent. I love it though!

  • pacifica does come in a spray, so that wasn't a totally fare review. i do think that their solid perfume doesn't last very long though :(

i think birchbox is a much better program to be in, don't like test tube very much, kind of a ripoff

  • I have the Borghese mud mask. It is for face and body. Its green and smells like u guessed it...mud. It is a good product otherwise i wouldnt be using it at all. Have to say, i just love the smell of it.

  • I was also really curious about Wen, but didn't want to splurge for the price tag. Sally's makes a cleansing conditioner just like Wen--it's called Hair One. I picked up a few sample packets for 1.49 each, and then entire bottle was on sale for 9.99. I agree though, it's nice, and for $10, worth buying a normal shampoo and conditioner. I'm not sure if I'll repurchase, only because of the process of using it takes so long.

  • I have a new tutorial up ...Make up for glasses..

  • Really enjoyed this video , I love your makeup too! Would you do a tutorial on this look?

  • This sounds a heck of a lot better than Birch box!

  • love your hair in this vid

  • My mom is crazy about wen. She will not use anything else. She gave me some- I think its ok. She says i need to use it longer to see the full benefit but idk. Her hair IS very soft and shiny though.

  • You look good with glasses on! This would be great for someone starting out in makeup, someone that doesn't have a ton of money to spend on makeup, or someone that is afraid of venturing out to different brands because of the cost. That's a great price for all that stuff!

  • what color is on your nails!!

  • I was interested in that tube. Btw, the mask is boor GAY zuh. I love it! They have other masks too. The brightening is my fav. It's pink. The one you have is good for all skin types, but is especially nice for dryer or sensitive skin.

  • ive been watching you for awhile and i just relised you look just like mix between my mom and my cousin

  • TRY THE "ENJOY" HAIR AND SKIN PRODUCTS, THEY BLOW "WEN" AWAY!!!

  • sally's has a dupe of wen called hair one and i've heard it's just as good if not better. i think it's ridiculous how quickly you go through a bottle of the stuff given the price, and i think the product itself may be a little overrated given the fact that you're essentially using conditioner and no shampoo...and of course when you do that your hair is going to be soft. sure, it cleans your hair unlike regular conditioner, but nowhere near as good as shampoo does.

  • great video but i also have a question!

im going to prom next week but i have no idea what to do for my makeup since my dress is lemon yellow. do you think you could give me some advice? i have medium fair skintone, brown hair, and blue eyes! it would help so much! thank you :)

  • I use the cheaper Sally's version for color treated hair since I have highlights. I really love the product! I do use alittle less than suggested, and it works fine. I, also, every once in awhile will use "normal" shampoo just to remove any build up or to just give myself a super clean feel. I hope this helps :)

  • I adore Wen! I use mine as a weekly deep conditioner instead of a cleansing conditioner, though. I have very long, very fine curly hair and it helps keep the length/ends of my hair healthy. Also, I almost never use as much of the product as they label suggests.

  • isn't Beauty Test Tube a quarterly subscription service similar to BirchBox? How come it was on QVC?

  • they sell something similar to wen at sally's thats around 10 dollars, I havent tried it out yet but they sell mini "sampler" packets to try it out before you commit to the full size as well for around a dollar

  • @RRwuvesDC you're kidding right?

  • What did you use for your eyeshadow here? I LOVE it! Nice video too! :)

  • I love how you change up your style... Most people just do the same thing all the time, but your hair is always different, your makeup is different... It's just refreshing to see and makes me want to do the same!

  • i totally agree w/ your comments about the wen prods, i wasn't overly impressed w/ them either. I short fine hair & i didnt think it was anything "revolutionary" either. But my son who has a totatlly diff texture hair than mine-loves the prods. So maybe its b/c he has thick curly mixed hair texture it worked for him. So for me it wasnt a winner for him it was.

  • if you like when, sally's beauty has a "dupe" called hair one!

  • I used wen for 2 months and at first i liked it, but after awhile it started to weigh my hair down and made it greasy and lifeless. I do not recommend it at all.

  • 12 pumps to wash your hair? Wow. I've heard about it in 2 videos and it doesn't seem like it'd actually clean my hair since I have an oily scalp.

  • your makeup looks exceptionally stunning today! do a tut on this pls =)

  • Love yur makeup in this video Emily! Its stunning! can you do a tutorial on this? x x

  • Just so people know... the TestTube I got from Newbeauty, not from QVC is totally different. It all all skincare and 1 hair product and 1 "makeup" but it was really just a cream. I wish I had ordered from QVC lol. But that is the point of testing... to find out what you like and don't like.

  • I found the daily booth where you post the products you use in your videos, but this one was not there. Could you please tell me the colors on the eyes and lips??? TY!! LOVE It!

  • Beautiful makeup. Where do you list the products you use in each video? Thank you!

  • you look more tan

  • i have the solid perfume i love it its good to throw in your purse cuz it wont leak!

  • you should be a broadcaster you have the perfect voice :)

  • @TierraKay She is for a news channel I think =)

  • @TierraKay she already is! =)

  • Hi Emily, great review of the Test Tube products. QVC comes out with a new version every 6 months or so and it is a good way to try things they have been showing without much of an investment. Also, I've been using Wen for about a year. It has transformed my hair! My hair is very long, and I shower/blow dry my hair every day. It only took about a week for me (& others) to see a big difference. My hair actually feels like hair again. Love, love, love!!

  • she always tells the truth! i love it

  • Wen works, love it!! Is the only thing i use to0 clean my hair.

  • WEN works amazing , its really amazing , it is worth it , it really makes your hair super healthy. I love it , it makes your hair so soft , and helps with hair that you curl or straighten. I suggest it . I buy it all the time !

  • if you really like the WEN cleansing conditioner then you should try hair one from sallys because it is like the sam thing and its only around $10 which is way cheaper than WEN. i have been using hair one for about 3 months now and i love it. check it out!!!!!

  • @ashamer13 aww how interesting! :D what is the product called again? Hair One? i would love to try it out!

  • i love getting my newbeauty test tubes! they make me excited! ha

  • Maracuya is Passion Fruit in Spanish :3

  • It sounds like birchbox.(:

  • What a great deal! So getting it!

  • i loveee that mud mask! its so good!

  • I LOVE THE TUMBNAIL ON THIS VIDEO:) and thanks for the update<33

  • Hair One from Sallys is a good Wen knock off but you can also use cheap, thin conditioners like VO5 Volumizing or Clarifying, only $1 usually!

  • I have WEN and I was SO excited to get it. I find it really does not do much for my hair. It doesn't soften it at all and doesn't really clean my hair. Also it goes so fast that I just don't think it is worth it.

  • I recently started using WEN and I don't think that it's worth it at all, Ive used a full bottle and don't notice a huge difference, the aussie 3 minute miracle does the same thing and is a lot cheaper

  • Hi Emily! I have a question for you and I really hope you answer it. I know you cannot contact everyone, but I believe a lot of us in the YouTube community will benefit from your answer. HOW DO I KNOW IF MY SKINCARE, SPECIALLY IN MY EYE AREA, IS REALLY WORKING? I have gone true a variety of facial and eye creams and serums, but I just don't feel any difference...What do I need to look for in my skincare products? Thank you in advanced for your time and help. THUMBS UP SO SHE CAN SEE IT, PLEASE!

  • there is a WEN alternative at sally beauty suply called Hair One. I use it and it is amazing! It's only $10.50

  • Where did the pink bunny go? :(

  • Love the pics in your intro..but not liking WEN proucts at all, but that is just me..but your reviews are awesome!

  • what blush are you wearing! please reply :) it looks amazing

  • Wen is absolutely NOT WORTH IT! I just finished up a full bottle in less than 3 weeks (using the recommended amount for my length)... The first time it was great, really softened my hair, each subsequent wash caused more and more build up and by the time I finished it, my hair just feels limp heavy.

  • Wen is a rip-off. Not that I've actually tried the product, but I think their business practices (telling you to use 2x or 3x more product than it actually takes to coat your hair) are unethical. Keep your regular shampoo :)

  • Hey Emily I would like to see some basics kind of videos , like what makeup technique, hairstyles suit on different face shapes.

  • Oh la la! Sexy little bombshell pictures at the beginning of this video girlfriend! I tried a Wen dupe from Sally's Beauty Supply and I didn't like how it requires so much product for the price. I also felt like it was really heavy on my hair and made it extremely greasy. If you want soft hair I highly recommend the Macadamia Oil Hair Mask! It's fabulous and it smells amazing!

    <3

    Hayley

  • Hi, I love your videos, I was wondering if you know of any website that sells Revlon products and charges minimal for shipping to Canada?

  • Pacifica makes spray perfumes, too. I have the Malibu Lemon Blossom in a spray, but I also LOVE the Tuscan Blood Orange, Nerola Orange Blossom, Mediterranean Fig. Sephora has them.

  • What powder do you use? Love the finish you have.

  • What Eyelash number you have? on is so pretty!

  • so glad you did this review, i won't be ordering a tube<3.

  • sounds like birchbox. lol

  • @17lexlou That's what I thought. I LOVE my Birchboxes!!!

  • @17lexlou this looks a lot better than a birchbox

  • omg, i have the philosophy inner grace perfume and I LOVE it! i use it everyday.

  • @rchiariello Sorry I looked but didn't see it.

  • @geotennis1 Sorry! I looked but didn't see it.

  • They sell a generic version of WEN at sallys its called ONE lol. but i really wanted to try the wen but it was too expensive and i bed the generic version is made of the same things and i liked it!!

  • I had never seen the test tube before. Thanks so much for showing it. that is a cool idea to get to try out new stuff. :) Carla

  • Is "The Inner Grace" the one that smells like SJ Parkers "Lovely" perfume ?

  • OMG I LOVE WEN. What i can say it has done for me is well FIX MY SCALP issues. I had flaky scalp and SUPER OILY ROOTS! It was a mess! I color treat also so this has really RECONDITIONED my hair. I now have voluminous, soft, healthy hair that i dont have to wash everyday!

  • your make-up is great in this :)

  • how did you do your hair? I want it for prom!

  • Hey Emily! Thanks for the video! Quick question on the Tarte oil..I got that in the same set you did I think...how many drops do you use? I am having a hard time finding a happy medium! :)

  • You are fricken hot!

  • Ha!!! You look like some kind of "lab technician " in your intro....too cute!!!! =)

  • Sally's has a dupe for the Wen hair cleanser... it's Hair One and I love it!!

  • hair one sold in sallys is a cheaper version of wen

  • Your make up looks amaaaaazing! <3

  • "bor-gay-see"

  • u should check out birchbox if you like trying sample products

  • Before you said anything about the sunless tanning wipes, I thought wow her skin is really glowing i wonder what she is using on her face, then question answered :). I will have to look into those!! thanks again for another interesting video emily!

  • The new beauty magazine was not my thing and I felt there was a strong push for plastic surgery in there uck.

  • I love the Philosophy 3 in 1s, I haven't tried Inner Grace yet because I've found that I really prefer their non-perfume scents, but now I'm tempted to try it.

  • as for wen, there is a dupe I guess it's called hair one from sally beauty supplies, it's for around $10. However, I think co-washing ( using conditioner to cleanse your hair) works even better, and you need the cheapest conditioners because you want it to be liquidy and light. vo5 works the best. avoid rich and thick conditioners.

  • i tried the mud, I loved it and never tried anything like it.

  • They have a dupe for WEN @ Sally's Beauty. It works just as amazingly! The entire bottle is the same size as the original WEN product but @ Sally's its $10.99.

  • I used WEN religiously for almost a year. The best for my hair (long, straight, can get oily) was Sweet Almond Mint and Tea Tree. I found that it worked really well and preserved my color. I stopped using the product, however, because it was so expensive, and I was reading a lot online about how bad menthol is for your scalp, how it can even cause hair loss! My hair sheds a lot, so I started trying other shampoo and conditioners. My hair still sheds a lot, so WEN didn't seem to be causing that..

  • @brida227 Head to Sally's Beauty, WEN dupe available for $10.99!!

  • Wen pomengrate weighed my hair down, made it look like it hadn't been washed...although it was shiny. This was my second testtube, love the mag, cause I love skincare. The products in the tube are all QVC stuff, and I wanted to try something new. First tube had great stuff in it, this one was just so so. FYI, the mag has it's own testtube with NEW and high end products.

  • I started using Wen in early April. I bought the 32oz Pomegranate. I have a lot of oily color treated hair, so I need 8-10 pumps from the larger bottle to get a clean result. I'm still undecided about wen because it is SO expensive & my hair seems greasy at night, but I re-ordered the original almond to see if that gives a better result. The different scents are made for different hair types, so I recommend reading up on them and trying a full size for a month or two to really make up your mind.

  • @xoaries also, i definitely find the more you use, the easier it is to get it to foam up, and the cleaner the result. I'm giving it a good long try without cheating and going back to shampoo to decide if it's worth the money. My results are definitely positive so far, though, besides the oiliness at bed time. My color is definitely richer, my hair is softer, and it dries w/ round brush and straightens very smooth and easily.

  • Emily... you should really do a video about shower gel.. how you use it and what its for. I don't really know what the purpose of it is and I've always felt on the fence about it.... just an idea from a huge fan and loyal subscriber! <3

  • @StellarDistraction shower gel is soap for washing your skin....you put it on one of those mesh poofs they sell in the shower gel isle, wet it, lather it up, and rub it on your skin. then you rinse it off. voila.

  • bore-geh-zeh

  • whats on your nails please?! ; )

  • You look stunning in this video!

  • can you do a tutorial on your makeup pls!?!?!

  • i love how your ALWAYS honest no matter what

  • i think i heard a clock ticking in the background lol

  • Try the Macademia line- it's awesome! Guarantee to make your hair super soft!

  • A dupe for Wen isHairOne . You can get it at Sally's and it's less expensive I heard :)

  • FAVORITE beauty guru(: hands down <3

  • i love the wen products but i use it as a conditioner because i found that after using it for a week or two my scalp started to get oily and i didnt think that the wen was completely cleaning my hair, i found that using a shampoo and using the wen as a conditioner/treatment/leaveinconditioner makes my hair just as shiny without the oily scalp, and my scalp doesnt get oily quickly either

  • They sell the Pacifica in a spray too. I have Hawaiian Ruby Guava and it's delicious. Indian Coconut Nectar is nice too. :)

  • I just subscribed to Birchbox a few days ago, you get 4-5 full-sized samples every month for $10. Seems like a sweet idea, great video btw :)

  • Inner Grace is my favorite perfume& people always randomly tell me I smell good :)
