Moore Run - West Virginia's Most Intense Steep Creek

I just hiked yesterday from Mc Gowan RD 2 miles in - I am thinking thats where you guys put in? Not sure but even after all the rain we have had its super low? There may be 1 or 2 times a year you could even run this if that. Not much snow this year so it was a super easy hike - I brought my wife and 6 and 10 year old daughters out with me. In this amount of snow with kayaks I could not imagine. I guess thats why it took 3 times to complete. I will be dragging my snowtrekker tent out soon.

God... I wish I had the balls to do stuff like this! I've done some Class II-III stuff in a rec kayak, but I'm scared to death of getting in over my head! lol Ya'll have my respect and admiration!

You guys are insane - Anybody who has not been to this area - its very remote - I can't wait to hike out Otter Creek and check some of this run out. Thanks for being crazy as hell - I'd love to see a video starting up at the top of Otter Creek at the parking lot. I think the drops on uppper Otter would be insane as well.
