  • @aliihsanasl if you want solo jazz guitar just like the video, check out any of the Virtuoso albums by Joe Pass (they're numbered, I.e. Virtuoso #4). I really, reaaaaally recommend getting Jimmy Bruno's album titled 'Solo'. It will blow your mind, guaranteed.

  • You just convinced this wannabe metal guitarist to turn to jazz, congratulations! Any tips on where should I start off XD?

  • lovely!

  • Magnificent as always!

  • Magnifique! Vous donnez toute sa valeur à ce célèbre morceau et vous faites sonner cet instrument incroyable (vraiment le top chez Gibson). Bravo!

  • This is the style/music I really enjoy to listen, solo jazz guitar without distortion, bass, piano etc. any album advices for me ? Seriously I'm lost.

  • Venderia mi alma al Diablo para tocar asi. Congratulations.

  • Absolutely wonderful. You an incredible guitarist. Keep it up!

  • Dear jazz guitarist, I am very impressed with your game and your voicings. it sounds! The guitar sound is remarkable, it sounds like a piano. Your arrangement is very modern and interesting, I usually do not like this song, but this arrangement makes me want to play more often.

You are the jazz guitarist on youtube I was most impressed with this release.

Thank you for your knowledge transmitted.

    With great respect. *****

  • Dear Friends, Thanks SO much for your continued support of my playing/this video. I see that the close up shot has devastated the views of the wide shot...:) which means 35, 892 guitar players may have just thought the borrow a chord voicing or two..LOL!

  • Dear Friends, Thanks SO much for all this wonderful feedback on my playing. I was a bit "spoiled" because a very technologically savvy friend shot this stuff for me. I've yet to set my self up to do this kind of quality at home, but it's not TOO far away.

I will look forward to sharing more arrangements with LOADS of goodies in them. All the best to you, my talented and supportive buddies here! Peter

  • So, a few bars into this piece and its very apparent that you have an incredible knowledge of the music language/theory. As a result, your interpretation of this song is exquisite, to say the least. Holy inner voicings and substitutions batman! Your technique is relaxed and you enjoy what your doing. The sound of your rig compliments all the above.

Picture me fainting seeing a chord sheet of this. 8o

    Creme de la creme, monsieur.

    Bravo, continue!!

  • WOW! Great arrangement, scary good playing!

    Dave

  • Now this.... This is how a guitar should be played.

  • Holy crap man........you're chord changes are out of this world........quick and brilliant, great great great playing, but you must know that!

  • Thanks SO much! I really appreciate that. I recently moved to a new place after 15 years in my old place (did a LOT of practicing there...lol) Have yet to really set up a audio/video studio here, but as soon as I'm record ready, I'll post more. I'll stop by your page, but am sending you all the best in the meanwhile!

  • Thanks for checking this out, everyone. If you enjoyed this, there are more to come! My friend Brian Brodeur at NY DVD invited me out to his studio and play a bit. he is THE BEST.
