My daily driver is E46 328i and E30 325i weekends. 325i is more responsive with Signature Motoring performance (CAI) intake kit. Installed it myself in

under half hour. HP increase on the 325i is about 9.5HP for a cost of $170 or around $19 per HP gain. Best 1st performance mod to do. Other

application data:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

Are E30's good cars to learn stick on? Technically I know how to drive stick, but not very well apparently haha. I've got an E90 slushie box but I want a stick E30, 325i or otherwise. Probably can't afford an ///M though but i'm sure a 325i will suffice :D

@Zeekbdos Its a Precision PT6765 turbo, Autronic SM4 ecu. This clip was 2009, 2010 i crankade up the boost a little bit wich added 75whp :)

@Zeekbdos Yep, built motor :) Yes addad 1 or 2 degrees on the ignition and increased the boost at high rpm to 2.2 bar :) We might do a rematch in 2011, the problem is we live like 500km away from eachother =P

@Christoo92 This was my first run ever on the air strip, didnt know exactly when i had to brake so i let of a bit to soon just to be shure :)

Our cars have a similar top speed, ~290km/h. (GPS speed)

Since it's everything so close under the hood, isn't the V10 overheating like the Porsche 928 had the problem? it looks like if once you're really givin' it the beans for a long time, that the radiator and stuff will be baked like it was a barbecue. Spectacular car though and if there's no trouble with it's temperature and stuff, my true respect!!

@pazzoallaguida 480rwhp @ 1,2 bar and 601whp @ 2 bar at that event. (later 675whp) I had some bad missfires @ 2 bar because of a bad spark plug, thats why it seems so slow with 2 bar compared to 1,2. (Pretty much lost a cylinder at 4, 5, 6th gear)

The top speed is around 285-290km/h GPS speed.
