Grayson is sadly mistaken on healthcare reform. I'm a retired federal employee. I'm on the brink right now. If my insurance rates go up, and insurance co's in California have already announced a 20% increase. I'm screwed. I'll have to cancel and go on government healthcare and take the fine/sanction. HCR was a SCAM! It ignored interstates insurance sales and tort reform. It was designed for LAWYERS! WE ARE SCREWED! And why wait to cut fraud. Can't that be done immediately?

Congress shall pass no law, that changes the status of any entity in a way that allows that entity to get any preferential treatment in economy.

A trip to a doctor would cost $5 out of pocket, a day in a hospital would cost $110.
AFTER gov't fkditup, the prices skyrocketed much faster than any inflation, all because of gov't regulations/guarantees of payment, which always push for higher prices.

Grayson gives us specific examples on what we're doing and where we're going. I have heard not one single active suggestion from Republicans. "Lower taxes" how? for whom? "Overturn healthcare reform" then what? The opposite of progress is regress. Return to the old. It doesn't work. Let's move forward, not back.

BTW, have you heard about the GOP's Pledge to America? One of the tenants in said Pledge is that they basically want to repeal healthcare and then reinstate it with their name on it. Absurd.

He says what every Progressive is thinking; not every American. Granted, I love his take on war/MIC and the Fed. But, he's not an economist nor does he understand how healthcare works. No one, not even Grayson, could possibly understand 2,000 pages of contradictory mess. Labeling it "healthcare reform" totally glosses over the fact it doesn't address the core issues of rising healthcare costs or decreasing quality.

you cannot claim that you get a tax penalty instead of jail when continuing not to comply or not paying the tax means jail.
tax evasion = jail time
failure to pay taxes (debtors prison) = jail time
refusal to pay taxes (railroading by a federal judge i. e. Irwin Schiff) = jail time
