Remember the original trailers? A third-person shooter, in a fully open ring-world, with massive team-cooperative online multiplayer. Something like "Giants: Citizen Kabuto", but even more epic. Rumors say it was changed into a typical FPS because the Xbox could not handle the ambitious design.

Damn, Halo was not even a particularly good FPS.

I think. and its still great today. after finishing Reach I wanted a Re-mastered Halo. well FUCK YEAH I GOT IT! So in short, Halo = Awesome.
