  • can you use coconut oil instead?

  • @whufc4life100 You can use coconut water but it does have the cream factor. Still tasty though! KtC

  • @kooktocook ok i will try that most probably heathier that way too

  • cool, im going to cook this now, thanks so much

  • @jhynesyahoo Enjoy. I find you do not want to much of the coconut milk so do not use more than listed. However, by all means experiment to your tastes. cheers! KtC

  • aww...skip the tarragon, replace it with "pandan" leaves and you'll get "Nasi Lemak", a malaysian specialty :)

  • @ivegotnothingbetter Nice tip! cheers, KtC

  • 1 cup of basmati rice & 2 cups of Coconut milk!

  • too much coconut milk. each their own though. cheers, KtC

  • We may argue concerning the amount of coconut milk to cook our rice with. But do you agree that Turmeric is the most important spice ... Google "whfoods".

  • I'm not arguing. To much coconut milk and you get paste rice. The basic mix is 1/3 coconut to 2/3 water (other liquid) to the 2 cups of rice.

Turmeric is a super spice. Great in radiator sealant formulas. cheers! KtC

  • what kind of rice do you use?

  • I use either a basmati or a long grain rice. Most of these vid. are long grain rice unless otherwisse stated. Both work very well. cheers! KtC

  • oh my god kook this was delicous

  • about every 2 months or so I pick up some coconut cream and/ or milk. I always squeeze in this rice with whatever else I'm thinking (usually Thai). yum. Have a great day! KtC
