  • even if your elgs bent you did the first 2 easy, im sure you could do the first 2 with no problem with no bend...the ebnd was small

  • Have you considered try a phase of Smolov for the deadlift, snatch grip deadlift, or front squat? Combining a Russian volume program with one of those three lifts would really make your lower body strength sky rocket. I got my pull from 415 to 480 in 9 weeks training on Smolov.

    That, and if you opted for one of the pulls you could probably do a low volume pressing routine that wouldn't burn you out to quickly.

  • @TirumphantAce I haven't tried any of those but that's a pretty good jump on Smolov -I've also heard a lot of good things about Smolov so I'll look into trying that!!

  • Given your weight here, it seems that if you upped your deadlift a bit you could be a pretty ferocious light weight strongman. That's some great pressing power.

  • @TirumphantAce Yeah for sure. I thought about LW strongman for a while but my deadlift has always been lacking (today I'm going to try doing a wide sumo pull) so right now I'm just focusing on powerlifting. I might take a crack at strongman once I can get my deadlift higher..maybe in a year or so depending on where it is. Thanks for the comment!

  • @HHH396 Yeah, it definitely didn't feel like it when I was actually doing it...if I didn't take a video I wouldn't even notice something like that. So yeah, I think you're right though.
