Watching this again for the first time since it happened, I'm now convinced that should have been the tuck rule. Not that the Cardinals would have won, but you never know.
If there was no doubt, then even Al Micheals would not have noted that it appeared to be a fumble. Granted, it should have been reviewed on the field, but I doubt there would have been sufficient evidence to turn it over given the call on the field.
