I'm not American and this might be a dumb question but I thought that automatic guns were illegal for civilian use in the United States? I recognize that this event was held at a police range (presumably by the police?) but I highly doubt that a DP28 sees any official use with any department. Is it ok for non-civilian agencies (police/military/etc) to own/use non-standard equipment that would be illegal in the hands of civilians?
