ok these guys are great but the problem i have with most shredders that they spend so much time working out these sick licks and the amazing shit that they do...that the grooves that they right to go under it are just weak...i just think they have it a little ass backwards...still impressive and listen to a lot of shredders and vai is one of my favorites...
Tbh I agree with you here and ironically, Vai and Satch are 2 masters of groove. Satch is just plain a master of harmony (him and Allan Holdsworth are probably the 2 most advanced guitarist harmonically ever) so hearing these 2 guys have kind of a weak rhythm going on during this just seems kind of wrong.
fuck they need to hurry up & do an album together hahaha cos it will be the most insain guitar album in the history of music & nothing will touch it ever hahaha, well thats my opinion : ) ha
