We had the storm here in Southern Ontario. It was bizarre! Rain turned to sleet and snow and then it started to warm up again. IN the early hours of the AM I woke to a completely lit room as though it were daytime, and not the sound of normal thunder. I went to look outside. The flashes were full sky making it brighter than daylight and the sound was as two low flying planes. NO rumble, no cracks, solid low, consistent sound for 30 seconds at a time. It was creepy.

damn i love a badass thunderstorm. here in TX we used to get an assload every spring, but havent had many the last couple springs. from the way it looks we are heading for a serious drought.

Storming here in Kansas City Mo. dime to quarter size hail, it seems to have calmed for a moment. They sprayed our skies all day long! Thanks for the update, Peace and Love!
