The cheap felt from the store is generally synthetic, so doesn't have wool's good qualities of insulation. Also you are limited to colors and thicknesses in mass production. Good vid. Thanks.

Maby sew a regular sheet on each side of a big piece of felt and you'll have a quick comforter blanket.

Isn't felt cheap to buy anyway? It is neat to see how to make your own, but is this really that much cheaper than just buying some felt?
