  • Hi there,

Thank you so much for sharing your video. Have a fabulous day. Katia

  • all the best in yo life bud!!!!!!! :)

  • do you ever laugh ?

  • I have a daughter with Moebius, although she's lucky as she can move one cheek - we're just going through the social stigma associated with school and it breaks my heart to see kids treat her with caution as they can't tell via her face how she is feeling. How did you build the resilience to go as public as you have now? Thanks so much for this.

  • Thankyou so much for sharing this :) I hope you have a lovely day

  • you are a brave person

  • Thanks for sharing!

Hey, on the upside, some people have to pay many thousands of dollars for their skin to be as wrinkle free as yours.

  • you are sooooooooooooo brave.......good for u......

  • Bless you young brother, stay strong.

  • at least you are mortal.

  • Thanks for posting, very informative about this rare disorder.

  • You are so brave.Everyone has disadvantages, but only few people have courage to show and talk about it in public.I understand you because I stutter, so in some way I know how you feel.I wish you all the best....

  • And at least you can blink! O_O

  • You seem like a nice guy. =)

  • In regards to your smile. 'I usually don't do it. It's kind of scary.'

    Rofl, that made me laugh.

It's a shame about your deformity. We all have our burdens to bear, a pity it's the nice guys that seem to have the worst of it. That being said, you don't need me to tell you to keep your chin up and live a good life. You're doing that all on your own, what I can tell you is my name is David. Nice to meet you.

  • ur the man, thx for posting

  • it was very brave, i also like your attitude to your condition

  • Thank you for sharing I never knew about this condition. Was very helpful and informative and brave!

  • You know what? You don't have any wrinkles! That is an upside for sure. I like your good attitude about your condition. You seem like a cool person.

  • Hi man, that's a great message from you and tells a lot about your condition, more than any doctor's words. You seem like a strong and fearless guy, keep it that way! I guess you know it by now, but the way people see you is based how you approach them. And by the amount of positive comments I can tell you're doing just fine!

  • you are strong and brave and I admire that you, dont surrender

  • i heart your smile!

  • whenn u found out about wat happend to you? did you fill shocked? i am sooo sorry for you did they find a quer? for it i hope they find one quick!!!!! i hope you get better

  • are there any surgeries that can be done?

  • @spacethoven yes i've had so surgeries done have to me live a better life. just look it up

  • You can't move your eyes from left to right, but how about from up to down. Becouse in 1:18, your eyes are moving :)

  • @huudiduu

Yes I can move them up and down, but some times they roll backwards on their own, I have no control over that, and people think that I'm doing it on purpose. Thank you for your question. : )

  • @huudiduu He mentions that he can move them up and down in the video.

  • Thank you for the vid

  • i wish people were more aware of more birth defects...maybe they wouldn't be so ignorant and harsh toward "different" people.

  • whats wrong with your face?

  • @Hendrixstrato

Maybe you didn't understand what I was saying in my video, but I have a facial paralysis called Moebius Syndrome. : )

  • Thanks for the video, I had never heard of this before, you did a great job of explaining it. All the best to you and yours.

  • looks like u have a gun under ure face there O.o kinda scary

  • @bangadesh People like yourself are scary, because you make these weird comments, but yet you don't have have to guts to show your self. You remind me a radical group of people that hate mostly everyone, and they hide under white hoods. If your going to make a comment like that, at least have the guts to put a picture of your self on your profile.

  • @moebian sry mate if i offended you : / good vid for ppl that dont understand this syndrome

  • @moebian Going a little bit overboard there, as far as I can tell I'm pretty sure he was talking about the black microphone you were holding under your face. Just because you have a disorder/syndrome doesn't mean everyone is out to get you.

  • @moebian YOU TELL HIM! god bless you

  • god bless your bravery mate! a guy the year below me at school had this. As you'll know, you're not alone! I'm glad you're proud and brave enough to face the world when you post on youtube. As you'l know everyone seems to get abuse and crap comments on here. fuck them man! total respect to you!

  • You are amazing! I was in foster care and my foster mom had twins Cheyenne and Sierra. Cheyenne has Moebuis syndrome, but she had sergery on her legs for her face... Idk what they removed in her legs but whatever they did she can smile alittle bit, and if she's sick with a cold or flu if she gets a high temp she well have a seiger- sorry I have horrible spelling, the thing that some people get from flashing lights- if you don't mind me asking do you some time have them, or is it just her.

  • I have allot of respect for you man. Stay strong, you are an inspiration.

  • Comment removed

  • hey man i think its really cool that did this and u or not a bad looking guy honestly, no homo lol

  • Thanks for posting this up :)

  • Hi Moebian

    How are things?

I hope you don't mind me asking, but I am curious:

Do you have trouble reading if you can't move your eyes horizontally?

  • @DrPlatypusMan No I don't mind you asking. I can read just fine, I just move my head left and right when i need to. Thank you for asking.

  • Dios te bendiga... en los momentos mas dificiles de nuestras vida dios esta a nuestro lado vive, disfruta la vida que el te ha dado y recuerda que nada es imposible para desarrolarte y ser feliz.

  • Are you married?

  • Moebian, I wanted to thank you for showing the effects of the Moebian syndrome to everybody. You are a true inspiration and a wonderful person! Thank you!

  • @ferpego89

Only those who ask others if they are assholes, are asshole themselves. Peace : ).

  • from my point of veiw u look kinda kool

    Thanks : )

  • thanks for sharing..may God bless your heart.. you're amazing!

  • @rath00 yes man you have my respect

  • ur inspiring

  • I hope u dont think this is rude but may i ask you a question.

Can u close your eyelids, if not how do u keep them from drying?

  • @coconopalito

I can't close them 100% I use eye drops some times but I don't really have a problem with my eyes getting dry.

    5*

  • Hey respect for posting this video i have Moebius too well with me i have the rarest from it doesn't really affect me much i just can't show alot of facial expression but i can smile but its like a small one lol. Even though things like cancer and down syndrome are much worser than moebius i still think moebius should be talked about more on tv like someone like Oprah should do a moebius syndrome awareness show so people can understand x

  • Don't mind silly people that say rude things for no reason. I am an Occupational Therapy student. Your video is very helpful and will be shown to a whole class of students to help them learn about Moebius Syndrome. This video is awesome, thank you so much for your time and efforts to teach the world so honestly about the disorder you have grown up with.

  • you're brave man, thanks for posting and teach me that we can always laugh at ourselves

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • When I was younger, around 10 or so, I have 2 permanent teeth in front that used to stick out of my mouth and so a lot of kids who didn't know any better would say I looked like Bugs Bunny or call me retarded, That used to really upset me, Also I can't open my mouth as wide as most other people do and so I feel kind of self-conscious about that.

  • I have Moebius also

  • you're amazing and very VERY brave for posting this video. i personally used to have sort of low self-confidence (i don't have any ailments or diseases), but it's just self-consciousness and shyness. You seem a much stronger-willed individual than many of the so-called "healthy" people i have encountered in life.

i have so much respect for you (:

all the bestest wishes to you and whatever you decide to take on in life.

  • i have the same thing, altho i dont have all the symptoms of it, i can smile but i have a lot of trouble with my speech.

i had jaw surgery about 5 yrs ago they broke my top and bottom jaw and brought them forward.. the surgery helped tremendously. its nice to see someone else that does have it; its such a rare syndrome.

    thank you for the post.

    you are truely very brave.

    god bless!

  • 1st. Your ignorance is what is retarded...

2nd. you can clearly see this guy has much more knowledge than you'll ever have.

3rd. your 29 years old, and still typing these immature comments, especially on "YouTube"..WOW u really don't have a life..

  • Very inspiring video.

    stay strong, you're great.

  • Your awesome dude ^_^

  • This guy isn't differn't.... o.o

  • By the way, I LOVE your sense of humor! Keep up the great work!

  • I was just watching part of your video, and I must commend you on your bravery to bring your condition out into the open. Just out of curiousity, are people with Mobius Syndrome permitted to drive if they can't move their eyes? Or does it depend on the severity of their condition? I'm just curious. I don't mean to offend anyone.

  • Much respect man

  • hang in there dude

much respect for spreading the message

  • Man, your speech is really good! I'm sure you learned tricks for making the sound of M, B and P without being able to press your lips together. My compliments to your speech therapist, and to you, sir.

    :-)

  • doesnt dehelot a sicst and sevenss cranial nerve

  • lol

  • No, isn't lol

  • Wow. Hang in there, I think very soon things like this will be treatable. I noticed that you do not blink. Can I ask, do you need to put eyedrops in to prevent irritation? Also, do you sleep with your eyes open?

  • you have very young looking, wrinkle free skin sir. I believe you have the moebius syndrome to thank for this.

  • in your next video can you do a rap song about this. I would very much enjoy that!

  • very very interesting actually, how has it affected your life socially?
