The cow looks skinny because dairy breeds are chosen for there ability to convert feed into milk as apposed to meat breeds that are most efficient at converting feed into flesh. In other words dairy cattle like jersey, should have visible hip and rib bones and large udders with 4 well formed teats. I tried to buy raw milk at a local dairy in CO for my son and the girl said she couldn't sell it to me because I live in town and it might make me sick but she drinks it everyday and is good to go. You have to join a club to get raw goat milk in CO. I don't drink milk but everyone should have the choice to drink it in whatever form they want, raw or destroyed.

We drink raw milk here where pasteurization was invented. A micro-filtered raw milk is also available for those on the fence. But pasteurization makes it so most milk in France doesn't have to be refrigerated.

Well, our Founding Fathers and their familes along with the thousands of others that came over from Europe to live here, drank raw milk. We drank raw milk for years before pasteurization was even thought of. Many farmers have drank raw milk, killed their chickens, cows, pigs, turkeys, etc. for at least 234 years that I know of.
