Finland i think is not very special, good goaltending but not so much O and D are so-so. USA could medal but idk about gold, Miller is playing like god in the crease and they are scoring but the PP needs to get going more, the Canada game was good but in the whole tourny the PP has not been good. the D has been pretty good only allowing 3 goals for Canada is something to be proud of.

i gotta say Russia, it is true that they have looked shakey but just look at the roster, amazing O pretty good D and solid goalies. its hard to pikc against them when you got OV,Geno,Semin,Kovie,Dats,Radul­ov,Gonchar...they are solid, and OV showed that not only can his hits hurt you physically, but they can hurt on the scoreboard as well....poor Jagr :( Sweden would be a good game if they played Canada both have great goalies and both cant score lol should be an intense game.

hmm... now after Russia have fallen to the Slovaks... I'm going to go out on a crazy leap of faith and say Sweden USA final. Sweden don't look like choking or falling apart, plus they have lundqvist, meanwhile USA look like they too are solid mentally which Canada and Russia aren't, plus they have Ryan Miller. If those two goalies keep doing well, other countries won't get a look in.

no one is talking about the us even though they have played much better than every other team. heres the problem with canada and russia, they are both all star teams. All star teams dont win the olympics, teams built with depth and toughness and grinding do. Brian burke built the US like this and we saw that canada, while an all star team, struggles because they dont play as a team, they play as individuals. We are going to see them struggle against teams like sweden finland and maybe the US

A team of all-stars that comes together as a team, will beat a team of toughness any day of the week. Their problem isn't playing as "individuals", it is trying to be too cute with the puck. If they keep it simple, they(team Canada) will be very hard to beat.

Not sure why many Canadians looked past Switzerland. Short memories? Both Canada and Russia were brought back down to earth last night. As I said before the Olympics there are 7 teams that can beat each other in any given game. Sorry Switzerland, make it 8. No team has looked particularly impressive yet. USA has looked pretty bad also despite 2 wins. If either the Swiss or Norway were a bit better at finishing chances they could've beaten the US. The Norway game was much closer to 3-1 than 6-1.

That ... was WAY too close. They were a team that I wasnt even worried about. Their goalie was amazing!! Im scared to death to face the USA on sunday. Oh Lord, we're in for a game of epic porportions for sure!! It wont be anything less then exciting and nervewracking Im sure... Its really pissing me off that ALL the credets going to Sidney . but even though I hate him.. I will give him his due... he did great on that last goal. But Common Brodeur did one hell of a job!

Canada of course are the favourites but watch out for Sweden and Finland. Either one in the final and one in the semis vs. Russia who fall to Canada
