@wendycoriell You see, it's just that word Gospel. It infers bullshit to me. Dogmatic bullshit. I think George Carlin was much more flexible than that. To call his work a gospel goes completely against the spirit of his work and what I believe is the way he thought.

@cbebop7 Most will say humans are fucked up, i can say other animals wouldn't have been much different in our shoes. We don't realize the only way to break the chain is work to actually advance instead of thinking advancement is wrong. Weapons aren't progress, immortalizing earth life and colonizing space is. Humans are factually retarded in the sense they stunted their own learning to where today we are literally thousands of years behind. We should be type 1 on the kardashev scale not 0.7...

George had an increadibly open mind, he wasn't saying we don't have impact on the planet. He was that our actions were insignificant and in the long term, pointless. Maybe you'll never understand, or see things from his point of view. George was simply amazing to me.
