@oceanview123ful No Napolean is shit and is just a money making scheme after the failure of Empire Total War (which could have been fantastic if it wasn't so rushed), SS isn't about building units, its about more indepth strategy and managing re-enforcements. I loved having to fight to take the high ground but also making sure i had enough ammo. You'd spend hours on a game with such things as resupplying a few key units with a small amount of ammo to mount a break through

I used to love playing friends in Sudden Strike, we would play the mode where you had to keep your general alive. I sucked really bad at it but I would hide my General in some random church and make them destroy every building just to find him. lol I would use the civilian cars to trick them into thinking he was going a certain way, just so hilarious hiding troops to make the game last forever.

i think this looks a little better than rwm(ss2) BUT theres something i dont like and i cant quite put my finger on it.One thing being though is that when in 1024 x 768 resolution everything still looks like 800 x 600 looks on SS2

Very good video my cousin introduced me to sudden strike forever when it came out and we have been playing every mod for SS2,Resource War,Cold War Conflicts,and Hidden Strokes as well.They are all great and I have yet to find a ww2 RTS that even comes close to these.

Once you have Sudden Strike 2 installed and patched to version 2.02, the Aprm mod would be installed next, it's another disc altogether. You'll need to patch HS to v1.04 to play online.

well u could not compair these two games, sudden strike is 8 or 9 jears old and company of heroes have an different way of playing the campaign or the multiplayer games, try to buy it and play it u will see it is an total other way of gaming.

no company of heroes is a ww2rts game (real time=rt) which means the grpahics and physical effects are state if the art. i have it and ive never seen a better ww2rts game in my life. btw, need a really good pc to run games like that

There is no way (i think) to handle such a large amount of units without losing their control in a 3D game.

It's impossible to control so many in 2D either. The problem with the sudden strike games in my opinion always was the fact that you almost always had TOO MANY units. Impossible to micromanage. :D
