  • let them white boys come. Hahahaha! I've seen "grappling" white boys eat concrete since 2009. Sure, fights "end up on the ground" but there're things on the streets that don't apply to the "octagun" and "cage matches". But yeah, working out is a must. I'm surprised a brother gotta even make a video to wake cats up to the idea.

  • @juggernaut44 I've seen brothas get they asses whooped all because they couldn't deal with a white boy on a physical level. Fights usually and easily end up on the ground... all it takes is a tackle. It's silly to think all real fights will be boxing matches. You need some degree of strength training.

  • yo its true. when i was in the millitary thats all those white boyz did and they always wanted to challenge you when it came to lifting weights. i was 165lbs but i was benching 315 for a work out and looked like i was 185-190 lbs. they would love to challenge me but see how strong i was curling 60's and would submit. i stoped working out bc of war injuries but now im back in it man.

  • If you are lifting weights for BODYBUILDING that is different than training for a specific sport. Some exercises will bloat you and it hinders your movement.

    Best fighters like Nick Diaz and Anderson Silva have great skills but are not huge.

  • Keep telling these brotha's the real! Been seeing this phenomenon occur for quite sometime. These white boys out here are looking real thirsty at the black man trying to start trouble. Guns, weapons and running in mobs with 20-30 n&*g@s is not always the answer when it comes to defending yourself (especially when the law is concerned) and a lot of brotha's have gotten soft because of this fact.

  • @BoxingWasp3 na me personally the only weight lifting I do is the dumbbell flies THATS IT and I have to do them with wide push ups to hit the chest good.everything else is cardio and chirostenics.weight lifting causes that awful feeling in the morning and that gain isn't here to stay.but maybe ua big dude that is more into the mass look .I'm just into tone and having definition.so my workout cater to just that.lol all jokes aside are u one of them diesel ass niggas?

  • @vidz06 I'm not diesel like a roid user, no. If you gain true muscle size then it wont really go anywhere. That aweful feeling is muscle soreness that tells you that you've properly torn down your muscle cells and they will grow back bigger. If you're not gain real power from whatever you're doing then it's not effective. Look at wrestlers (real wrestling not WWE). They're quick, toned, and muscular and they lift weights. If you're not feeling sore for a few days then ur not workin out right

  • @southstaronline Floyd is only talking about guys in his own weight class who lift weights. Floyd said himself that there is no way he could beat the klitschkos. As long as a fighter weighs in at 147 Floyd can beat them but not if they're 180 and ur street fighting. If Arnold got a hold to bruce lee it would be over. I've been lifting weights like this for 8 yrs and have never snapped anything. People who have never lift weights talk like you do.

  • @BoxingWasp3 Correction, people who have lifted weights and understand that when giving advice to beginners (Skinny people, as your video is directed to), you don't advise them as you have, in your 8 years of experience, you really should and more than likely DO know better. After a good 2 years of training and having learnt how your body works, you will be able to work out like that. For skinny folk though, beginners... They will snap some shit up!

  • @southstaronline I started working out with a trainer who was 10 yrs deep and he started me exactly how i'm telling you. It's all about shocking the muscle into growth. The only way you'll "snap some shit" is if you're trying to MAX out with too much weight (meaning only doing one rep to see how much weight you can lift once). If you're able to do 12 reps then you aint gone snap shit.

Bruce lee never fought shit- arnold would snap his 140 pound small ass frame in two.

  • @mrwigger69 Not the point, Bruce Lee is interchangable with any small high skilled fighter, against any unskilled fighter the size of Arnold. The names were to give association with size, but the point is based on skill vs size.

    My example may be to the extreme, because sure, if the big guy was to get hold of the small guy, there's a good chance he snaps some shit up in the small guy! Though if the big guy cannot fight and the small guy is George St Pierre, well then... Good luck.

  • Especially if you compete in combat sports... I train at a MMA gym and a Boxing gym...The trainers at the Boxing gym tells me not to lift because it'll slow your speed down.......

    The guy who owns the MMA gym tells me that lifting weights and using them properly for developing strength and power is good......

    Gyms that tell you that lifting weights are bad for you have a primitive approach to training.....

    I mean as long as its the proper strength and conditioning program its good...

    The proper Strength and Conditioning routine and program will help develop all core muscle groups as well as muscles you never used before and develop fast twitch muscle fibers(which helps your power and explosiveness)......

    Using weights and lifting to for sports specific purposes is the best for fighters...

  • I've been doing P90X, that shit works and a was able to build strength faster than when i went to the gym because it works against muscle memory, meaning your muscles never get use to the workouts so they grow faster.That shit kills me every workout. Imma bout to try to do both Insanity and P90X. The only thing i have to change is the diet plan because i'm trying to build a bigger size but it's been impossible cuz of all the cardio. I gotta eat bigger meals.

  • What's up Wasp? You are right but you might add the positive mental attitude from a good workout is also a result. Endorphins get released (an organic high) also if you can afford it, use B-complex tablets. They help turn food into energy and speed up metabolism. Even if your muscle mass does not dramatically increase, you will be fit and able to better respond to aggression. Later.

  • @bosdurgen74 I eat a low fat meat source before bed with amino acids. Eating an actual meat source will digest slow to prevent muscle breakdown while i'm sleep better than a shake will.

  • You got my workout & dieting down pack! Chest & triceps, lower body the next day, rest a day or two, then back & biceps.. Have a day designated for power lifts such as squats,deadlifts,& bench press, Mix in some calisthenics such as weighted dips, weighted chin ups, push ups & inverted rows.. running to get your oxygen intake up to increase the flow of nutrients to your muscles... Protein before & after each workout with added carb powder.. like you said eat every 3 hours... EXCELLENT VIDEO!

  • I ain't workout in a minute but I don't fuck with weights they not that beneficial as u think I use to workout with bartendaz google them in high school them niggas basically banned weights .the only weight lifting I do is the butter flys.you do those then a set of wide hand push ups u good.chirostenics is what u do less side and it confuses muscle memory thats how u get definition and muscle real muscle thats here to stay

  • @vidz06 Your body will eventually adjust to your body weight and you will stop growing. The people who experience a downside from weight lifting are steroid users who go overboard trying to get huge. Look at how fast football players are (recievers, running backs, ect) and they all lift weights. Look at pro basketball players... they lift weights also and are quick as hell. Pull ups and chin ups still have to be done even if you lift wieghts though no doubt but weights have to be included.
