Really moving and inspiring, however, why the costumes? Is it an intimidation thing? Why don't they just wear Black Monday jackets or something...? I can sort of understand the merits of the mask - it freaks out the thugs, but midunno... the wig? Anyways, I like the idea of people helping people. Nice.
these guys are pathetic and the sooner the cops lock them up the better. They cause more harm than good and think Kick-Ass the movie is how they should live their lives. If you guys want to help volunteer in a shelter, recycle and leave the costumes for Halloween
@IhateRLSH your name says it all. They aren't pathetic, They don't cause harm to the economy and they don't get locked up. They're doing more than some loser sitting on a couch, typing on his computer, not doing something, ANYTHING, helpful with his life.
okay, i'm gonna sound like a troll right now, but frankly i don't care. I think that people who dress up like superheroes and go out trying to fight crime are making a huge mistake. It's not like in the comics or movies, they're just gonna end up getting themselves killed, by the time you've grown up, you should know that superheroes don't work in real life. I do admire their courage, though.
i guess 1400 people pluss 200 worldwide that dress up and do this are stupid crazy honorable couragous men and women .
Dont worry ya not the first to say this is insane they said the same thing about the Minutemen before the revolutionary war and they said the same thing about the Guardian Angels during the crack epidemic in NYC when police were at its lowest .. Hell they called the original black panthers vigilante terrorists . ya just following a tradition
@reggie135 yeah, but none of those people weren't actually dressing up, and trying to be superheroes. They were actually fighting in wars, or helping the police. They weren't deluding themselves into thinking that they were superheroes,They were amazing people, because they weren't dressing up and pretending to be better than others.
i don't this that what they did was stupid, just dressing up and going out on the streets without training to get beaten up while dressed like a moron is stupid.

Yeah, I'm sure the streets of SLC are just crawling with danger. If punks like this ever got in my business, the only thing they'd get would be the business end of a bullet.
These guys are not vigilanties and are only trying to help people. What are you doing to improve your community? I serve in the military and though it is a world of difference I respect what they do for us. I have talked with them and I understand what their intent is.
Wow, this is becoming my favorite real life super hero group. Though it's probably horrifying for the victicms you save, and the high and drunk people to see those masks.
Running around in a goofy costume calling yourself a 'superhero' while forcing some vigilante mind-set on other people. Escapism from reality for those whom can't stand to live in it, pure and simple.
You kids be careful playing dress-up at night. Don't go and get shot by the police, now.

Very nice positive portrayal of one of the few RLSH groups left worth respecting.
Glad to see the BMS still working, still doing good and still looking good doing it. ;)
Kudos.
