Have you tried PLP?? Its relatively new, this might be solved now, but thought that might help.... Its short for Platelet Rich Plasma, the horses at the racetrack get it sometimes, it helps sometimes, might help her too....

i did not make a video "just because she hurt herself" even the title suggests that this video, (or if you like the reason for it) is to show our events and achievements as well as general footage of 2009, the same as i have done for both 2007 and 2008. It just so happened that in this year she became injured.... your the first to mention that "it seem asif she died" it does clearly state in the video she is injured. I watch this video all the time, i cant wait until she is sound again.

Keep the faith, Lottie--my mare foundered in 2007, and is going better than she did before it all happened, and I had numerous vets saying her options were limited and she'd likely need to be euthanized. Time, patience, and careful rehabilitation will hopefully get you guys back to what you do so well. It took two years of ups and downs for us to start to have a sense of normalcy again. I hope all of the best for you and Velvet.

i'm so sorry!

You know i think you're the 4th persin I know that their horse has torn their check ligament :( it's such a horrible thing, and such a long recovery.

But I'm positive Velvet will pull through it and be back to her normal self.

I know it seems like a long while, but time heals everything, just give time time.

You'd be surprised at how amazing it can be just spending a year on a ground with your horse, the improvements it makes with everything.
