I looked at some of the conspiracy theories suggested by Thruthers. At first they were compelling, but doing a little research they proved to have very weak evidence.

Do you not think the the fire proofing would have been stripped away when a jet liner crashed through the building, almost coming out of the other side and then exploding with thousands of gallons of jet fuel? And we had them for the TWIN towers. For the question of the sound, it's normal that we could have interpreted the sounds of the demolition whit all the noise that it make when the tower collapse, and don't forget that it's TWIN towers it's huge materials that can easily cover the explosions noise. The the explosion came out of the other side of the building. Fireproofing is not made to withstand 400-500mph impact and the subseqent explosion of thousands of gallons of jet fuel. It is made to withstand a fie of up to 1500 degrees when intact.

Once the exterior walls bowed outward even just a fraction, it is on an irreversible course to collapse. It does not say the steel melted, it says it was weakened due to the high temps.

@sandrahatton I agree the united states government had this prepared as they had had several warning prior to the attack... aswell many people in the buildings claimed that throughout the week leading to 9/11 they often had emergency exiting drills and many men in engineer uniforms would section off several points in the tower.,... and thye fact they say it collapse due to the fire melting steel? firemen claimed afterwards that the fires had almost all been extinguished..

The buildings because the steel was 'weakened' by the fires (steel loses half its strength at 600C) leading by structural collapse under the weight above the impact points.
Sadly the warnings of something happening on 9/11 weren't picked up on because of petty juristicional bureocracy in law enforcement.

I looked at some of the conspiracy theories suggested by Thruthers. At first they were compelling, but doing a little research they proved to have very weak evidence.
The weakest are the 'No Planes' and 'Controlled Demolition'.... both are as realistic as Santa and Tooth Fairy!

Many of the Truthers come out with the line "the temperatures weren't hot enough to melt steel", so they can make the arguement for a controlled demolition.
But they seem to be able to ignore the fact that steel only needs to get to around 600 degrees for it to lose half it's strength, a temperature easily reached.

Like that day it happend I thought it was a hollywood movie, ie not real! It acutally played out just like a movie? @DanSaw120285 Wrong, Their should be two explosion at the same time. One at the bottom of the bottom as you said and another one at the chock point of the building. And we had them for the TWIN towers. For the question of the sound, it's normal that we could have interpreted the sounds of the demolition whit all the noise that it make when the tower collapse, and don't forget that it's TWIN towers it's huge materials that can easily cover the explosions noise. @vide0gameCaster The impact which cut deeply into the building and the fire was enough. 600 degrees is all that is needed to reduce the strength by 50%. It doesn't have to completely melt. The revolutionary design was using the outer skin of the building for most of the support of the weight of the building, which reduced the number of support columns required on the floors of the buildings.

However, given that a plane ripped through the building like a missile, the fire proofing was not in tact. There was a gaping hole and an explosion. The the explosion came out of the other side of the building. Fireproofing is not made to withstand 400-500mph impact and the subseqent explosion of thousands of gallons of jet fuel. It is made to withstand a fie of up to 1500 degrees when intact.

A loss of half of it's strength an having to support so may floors above the impact zone is more than enough to collapse the building. Combined with the 500mph impact through the skin of a building that used the skin for most of it's supporting strength, that is more than enough to collapse the building.

The reason why it colapse (in the official report) said that it's due to thermical protection of the steal timber, that after 40 minute it "MELT" and there were no more solidity in the structure. So the pillars couldn't resist the charge and it collapse. Nothing to due whit the force of impact.

@vide0gameCaster I know it can't melt at 550 degrees, it didn't need to melt to cause the collapse, it only needed to lose it's strength. It only needed to be pliable enough to bend and bow. Once the exterior walls bowed outward even just a fraction, it is on an irreversible course to collapse. It does not say the steel melted, it says it was weakened due to the high temps.
You are ignoring the fact that no one ever said it melted and that it didn't need to melt in order to be weak enough

It was heated enough to weaken it, it did not melt, i.e. become molten. I suggest You read it or read it again if you already have. It heated enough to become weakened to the point where it bowed and then could no longer support the weight above it. Really, don't just ignore the fact that IT NEVER SAYS IT MELTED.
