@1995Optimus actually, in the comics Grilmlock's intelligence is on par with Optimus and Megatron (he once even led the autobots for a while) his speech patterns are caused by damage to his vocal processors

@ahzula The Decepticons got some stuff from Unicrons brain that could disrupt any Transformer's bodies and used it against the Autobots. The cure was also in Unicrons mind and Rodimus, Ultra Magnus, Kup and Grimlock went there to get the cure and the traps inside Unicron's head were about to kill Prime & Magnus when Grimlock bite through, causing a short circut giving him super intellegence, surpassing Perceptor. To battle the Terrorcons he created the Technobots, one of of the coolest gsalts.

g1 seasons 1 and 2 were much better than seasons 3 and 4 just i liked waking up and seeing megatron and optimus lead there autobots and decepticons the simple stuff like remember megatron would raid an oil field and optimus would stop it the good ol days

I loved this episode as a kid. Of course now that I think about it, why doesn't Grimlock just back up his immense intelligence on a computer.
