I think it's more likely that YouTube got pissed off with him for lying to them and making a falsified complaint against thunderf00t using the DMCA (see watch?v=ZaxETgOQb6o). The death threats may have been him lying (gasp!). Apparently the original VenomFangX account is back but with no videos, and I hope he thinks carefully about what he says, if he does start making videos again.
While I think it is quite a testament to character that you still grant him the benefit of the doubt concerning this, there is a history of lying that prevents many here from willing to believe this latest cry of wolf.
There is also the aspect of it being a fitting exit for a man who so censored anything he could to be "censored" himself and to give up so easily when many here fought past attempts to silence them. He is certainly not the first person to get death threats, and I doubt the last.

I'm mostly disappointed he turned out to be a liar in the end. I thought he was simply deluded. When you personally attack one's character, motives, etc. as opposed to addressing the issue, that is an ad hominem. It is a clear indication that one has lost the debate. I think it's more likely that YouTube got pissed off with him for lying to them and making a falsified complaint against thunderf00t using the DMCA (see watch?v=ZaxETgOQb6o). The death threats may have been him lying (gasp!). Apparently the original VenomFangX account is back but with no videos, and I hope he thinks carefully about what he says, if he does start making videos again.

While I think it is quite a testament to character that you still grant him the benefit of the doubt concerning this, there is a history of lying that prevents many here from willing to believe this latest cry of wolf.
There is also the aspect of it being a fitting exit for a man who so censored anything he could to be "censored" himself and to give up so easily when many here fought past attempts to silence them. He is certainly not the first person to get death threats, and I doubt the last.

I would like to give the benefit of the doubt, but the balance has been shifted between taking things at face value and being lied to.

Venomfangx left youtube because he is being arrested by authorities for fraud by paypal. He has made many accounts on paypal where paypal has warned him to stop. But he continued. He also did pay taxes for receiving money on paypal. He is in alot trouble with the local authorities. Venom is not leaving youtube because of threats.
