Well sort of, because you can have a specific number of same tones that are in two keys which can make it confusing because the guy can be switching keys! Overall to make it simple you can just say they are playing in a semitone scale which bends the rules of western music, since in western music a tone is only divided into 1/2 but in a semitone scale you can divide a tone into x/100. A tone being considered a note like A.

I understand everything you said, yet a guitar has frets and therefore, the person playing has no choice but to play using the western scale. Which part of the jam are you wondering about? I hear no G# in this jam, but I during the first part of the jam on the other video, towards the end, he began using a phrygian scale, that is, incorporating a Bb into A minor.

I read the jam is in A minor, but there must be more to it harmonies... flea seems to be plaing some G# to A riff which would make it A harmonic minor or am i wrong? Cus that part of the jam definately isn't sounding like a normal typical chili peppers jam key...

Well sort of, because you can have a specific number of same tones that are in two keys which can make it confusing because the guy can be switching keys! Overall to make it simple you can just say they are playing in a semitone scale which bends the rules of western music, since in western music a tone is only divided into 1/2 but in a semitone scale you can divide a tone into x/100. A tone being considered a note like A.

Could you explain this to me in more depth please, maybe send me a message. I would greatly appreciate it. I understand everything you said, yet a guitar has frets and therefore, the person playing has no choice but to play using the western scale. I understood the part about the relative key and modes though. But what you said is very interesting to me.

Which part of the jam are you wondering about? I hear no G# in this jam, but I during the first part of the jam on the other video, towards the end, he began using a phrygian scale, that is, incorporating a Bb into A minor.

right im sorry for affending anyone but i was at this show the whole weekend and LOADS of people thought they where shit because the lead singer looked like he just couldnt be arsed. i was looking 4ward to these n it just didnt do anything for me.

compared to other stuff its pretty bad I'd say
most of the chords did not come together well

I liked the younger peppers anyway coz they were full of more energy back then and there not going in any intresting areas now to me.

for me Slane Castle/Hyde Park is the pinnacle of there career....
Stadium Arcadium is great but In my opinion is much more mellow.. compared to their early albums
