As a horse owner, all I have to say is that a) those people are suicidal, b) the horse should have a head bumper, and c) that's really not how it goes.

It's been a good 6 years since I read the Heartland books but I can honestly say I adore the television series. They didn't follow the books but the fact that the show deals with horses is enough for me.

That guy in the beginning wasn't even there. They had left the horse and Amy and her friend found it and went back to get her mom. Also a try fell in the road when they were driving and they hit the tree. They did it so wrong!! Get it right movie people! I hate it when they change things!!

I don't remember them vividly, but I remember enough to know this was a let down compared to the books. :(

Gee txrider it is a story not real life and the mom will call the cops.. but of course the accident prevents that. Oh yeah the trailer was empty when i flipped it and the truck was also empty for the crash into the trees. I was the tow truck operater that did the stunts.

Ok, instead of calling a humane society or the SPCA like normal people and letting them handle it in a safe way, lets drive out in a storm and deal with a dangerous idiot, then steal the horse (still illegal) and drive in the dark.

You can still develop a story from sensible points.

it's about a girl that lives on a horse ranch, where they take in abused and frightened horses and heal them, then find tehm new loving homes. That's not all it's about though.

I have a few friends who don't even have a bit of interest in horses,, but they still love this show..

You have to watch it to really understand what its all about. =)
