Lol at this not working. It's pretty much the best mount escape against a good grappler. The upa ain't going to work against anyone good.

It's true it can be hard sometimes. It works a little better in nogi. In gi, the friction sometimes prevent you from nailing it.

diamondcalves, you're kidding right? this is basically the only method i've used to escape mount for the last five years. also i would say it's the most common way for high level grapplers to escape.
