Got turned on to this tune at a little dive gay bar in New Orleans called "Jewel's". with the most awesome DJ, Doug Bryson (R.I.P.).

I remember telling some folks back then that this was one of my favorite "weird" songs. :-) I could never sit still when this started playing. One night me and this one other guy there danced all over the club to this (they didn't have an actual dance floor, per se).

Houston, Tx? I was in Austin Tx. same year in 87 at Hall's and can smell the clove cigarettes and poppers on the dance floor! 80's were great!
