Hi Andre, since I started with fingerpicking I first listened a lot to fingerstyle players (Atkins, Kottke...), later I was influenced by Joe Pass who gave me lessons in the 80s. I also listened a lot to Wes and trumpet players like Miles and Chet Baker. Rock and Blues came later - this is unusual, I guess.

Das ist eine Custom-Gitarre, die ich nach exakten Vorstellungen meinerseits bei dem E-Bass-Hersteller Andreas-Schack in Auftrag gegeben habe (von dessen Arbeit ich überzeugt war). Gebaut hat die Gitarre allerdings Andreas Cuntz, der sich später mit Cuntz-Guitars selbständig gemacht hat. Die Gitarre ist perfekt.

Korpus Erle, Hals Ahorn mit Ebenholzgriffbrett, Halspickup ist aus einer alten Les Paul, Steg PU ist ein Seymour Duncan Jeff Beck, Mitte ein Fender Single Coil von einer Strat. Die Gitarre hat eine kurze Mensur (63 cm).

Terminal A is ne tolle Platte und die DVD ist prima gemacht! Bei den Aufnahmen fällt vor allem die einzigartig gute Tonquali auf macht also wirklich Spaß dieser DVD zu lauschen!
