@grkniko1 the only ways to tell is by looking at the breeding papilla,you could also see a minor hump on the females head.The female papilla is thicker and the males is more pointed.
@reymore1995 males have a humped head. females are more smoother. in this video the male is the black and white one with a lot of stripes. (see the hump) and the female is the one with the fewer stripes. also if you read online they say that males tend to have darker red eyes.. but i dont know if that is true or not

Minimum size for a tank should be 200 Liters (240L would be better) and 50 cm in height.
They might be small when you get them from a pet shop but they will get huge. And don't put in more than ..one pair .. or .. if you have a larger tank 4-5 fish.
if don't have that tank, don't even think about it.

my angelfish just had babys to and i believe there is a bit more than 100 but we hav a lot of other fish! so should we put all of the other fish in a different tank becuz we just noticed tht some of the eggs were missing! do u know if the other fish would eat them?
My 2 Angel fish died yesterday lol. Because the damn temperature dropped too much.They were the best lookig angel fish ive ever seen...so i froze their dead bodys lol. My sisters wanted to preserve them so i froze them, in the freezer.
Just about 70% of my fish died. Time to buy new ones.
-White eggs means that they are unfertilized or have been attacked by fungus, this can be dealt with by dosing some methylene blue to protect the eggs from being attacked.
-The pair are extremely protective, that is why they are aggresively swimming towards you.
-You will have a better chance in keeping the spawn alive if you have no gravel, as wrigglers can get trapped and eventually die.

The bettas will not mate unless they are introduced properly if you want to try again you should read on the internet there are many helpful sites but some are not proper info so go on a few sites

Anglefish are very sensitive to shock. I had to completely change all my tank water because of ick outbreaks twice this year. Bad outbreaks. Both times i lost an Anglefish. They would just lay on their sides. sucks. I always have a hospital tank ready. The stress changing them from tanks is to much sometimes.
psshh.. they don't like attention. They are aggressive and protective as all get out when breeding.. usually angels eat the babies to pick out the weak ones or when they get stressed.

u know u have to take the girl fish out of the take after the eggs are laid right? the male stays with the eggs. if u keep them together the daddy fish will eat the eggs cause he thinks there in harms way.
ive had angels in the past an heres wat i know..ahem u might have fry (which u were the tails u can c, thats all ya c ) but u need to not touch them or they die and if u really want them to live and grow u need to buy small live food but the parents will do most of the work ..but thats ur choice though

angelfish if you wanna be a bit lazy and have more variety of fish or oscars wich you need to feed live food more often and oscars can have a big temper
you have to turn off this black machine if you want the babies live... I think they pay attention when you tap 'cause they are protecting their babies... anyway it's very hard that the male won't eat them.
Next time when they get babys you should isolate the eggs into an upgrowtank, that that you can put in your tank. And don't forget, that they need a special food for fishbabys, because they are not able to eat the flakes.
Nice video thanks, i use to raise angels and I did not remove the babies from the parents, The parents were very protective and took care of the babies. love the colors of your angels, one looks like a Koi angel. the babies should be very pretty.
the probably would eat your guppies, angel fish are actually quite agressive towards other fish so i wouldn't reccomend putting them in a tank with smaller fish.

psshh.. they don't like attention. They are aggressive and protective as all get out when breeding.. usually angels eat the babies to pick out the weak ones or when they get stressed.

well yea if the eggs got into the filter there gonna die,you should put a fake amazon sword plant in there,or a piece of slate, it works for me,good luck.if you have any questions about breeding angelfish let me know

u know u have to take the girl fish out of the take after the eggs are laid right? the male stays with the eggs. if u keep them together the daddy fish will eat the eggs cause he thinks there in harms way.

ive had angels in the past an heres wat i know..ahem u might have fry (which u were the tails u can c, thats all ya c ) but u need to not touch them or they die and if u really want them to live and grow u need to buy small live food but the parents will do most of the work ..but thats ur choice though
good luck with them i hope u do well (cause there very hard thing to do)

try putting some plastic mesh over the filter inlet then you wont lose the fry unless the parents eat them good luck

the recomended is 30 but yea im sure u can ive seen 2 in a 10 along with 2 discus recomended for them is 55 gallons so ya it should be fine

They don't eat their youngs allways.
That will only happen, if theyre inexperienced, or simply not a good breedingpair(adults can be bad, just like young pairs)

Next time when they get babys you should isolate the eggs into an upgrowtank, that that you can put in your tank. And don't forget, that they need a special food for fishbabys, because they are not able to eat the flakes.

Nice video thanks, i use to raise angels and I did not remove the babies from the parents, The parents were very protective and took care of the babies. love the colors of your angels, one looks like a Koi angel. the babies should be very pretty.

the probably would eat your guppies, angel fish are actually quite agressive towards other fish so i wouldn't reccomend putting them in a tank with smaller fish.

make sure when you breed a betta, make sure your male makes a bubble nest and introduce the female to the male and you can have more then 2 females in the tank yours just didnt get a long i guess

They will follow your hand whether you tap the glass or not. At the pet store I always mock feed the angels and they all go racing toward my fingers. Best fish ever!

Well if you want to save them when they hatch change the filter to a sponge filter and make sure you feed the fry 4 times a day
