well, it gives his voice its own unique style but it's at least partly because if he pronounces h's his voice will crack.

he wouldn't fix it because without breathing, it tends to make things sound brighter the way tom does it, but overtime that brightness will go away because he'll lose his voice.

frankly it could go either way with the autotune. i personally think he is using it but on a low setting (AOL tend to make artists use it since its a semi studio show). but to be honest i dont especially care. it sounds great. why bother questioning it? its not like using autotune instantly makes you a bad singer. its an aid to make the song sound better without putting as much strain on the singers voice. thats all.

So if for example he is a bit flat on a specific note the autotuner adjusts it to the correct note in the assigned key. So basically making the singer sound in tune :)- or sumthing along those lines haha
