  • Aunty Nona is the BEST, ever. She has touched the souls of many. She will always be remembered for her love, compassion, passion, and courage. Love you, Aunty Nona! You have made such a difference in my life. I am working hard on my promises to you: 1. take care of the children, 2. share my hula with everyone, 3. pass on the Hawaiian culture to all I meet, 4. live pono, and 5. practice playing the ukulele and sing. And I won't forget ever forget YOU.

  • I know; when a friend of mine at Muppet Central told me about Nona's death, I was moved even though I've got no connection with her family or with Hawaii.
