They've only made one truly weak album as far as I'm concerned: DirtyWorks. After-math, Sticky Fingers, Some Girls, and Bridges To Babylon are the stand-out albums for me, I think.
Thank you very much for this beautiful collection from the record history of the Greatest Rock'n Roll ever. Well picked songs and of course only the UK albums. Thank you very very much!
did i miss something ??? introducing the stones , englands newest hit makers , 12x5 ,the rolling stones now , decembers children "and everybody's ,high tide and green grass , get yer yay yas out , flowers , ??
@theulv I usually go by the U.S. studio releases. 24 albums by that count. 10 in the 60's, 6 in the 70's, 5 in the 80's, 2 in the 90's, and A Bigger Bang in 2005. The track listings of the UK versions of Aftermath and Between the Buttons however are definitely superior.
10. Heart of stone 9. Paint it black 8. Gimme shelter 7. Monkey man 6. Cant you hear me knocking 5. Sweet Virginia 4. You cant always get what you want 3. Midnight rambler (live version) 2. Time is on my side 1. Sympathy for the devil
I love the Rolling Stones alot my favorite songs change all the time! I also like!
Miss you and Dead flowers and Fool to cry and It's only rockand roll and Bitch
This is a reminder that the Stones started off as a blues band, and somehow were sidetracked into being a rock 'n'roll band. I've got most of these albums.
Congratulations on getting your video featured by the "Rolling Stones Face Book Page". Apperently they really liked it and after seeing it myself it is very good. I like how you used more of the blues tracks than the traditional "run of the mill" radio air play tracks. Good stuff man........... Thanks............
Very cool, I myself am a collector, have all US release albums on Vinyl LP including live and best of's except 40 Licks and Bigger Bang are on CD. Was proud to have found No Security on vinyl but never even opened it haha
What greater compliment than the Rolling Stones featuring your video on Facebook today?? Thank you for this magnificent compilation of the world's greatest rock band!!!
What greater compliment that the Rolling Stones featuring your video on Facebook?? Thank you for this magnificent compilation of the world's greatest rock band!!!
I think you just forgot " around and around " (or the english version 12x5). That is the second album from the stones, the third is n°2 or the rolling stone now
OUAIAIAIAI !!!!! Quelle merveille ! Quel tripe de les écouter; les meilleurs albums à mon goût sont les premiers : ROUTE 66, WHAT A SHAME, AFTER MATH, OUT OF HEADS ETC...
very well done! I love the stones musik from the very first minute! My favorit albums are "tatoo you" and "beetwen the butons", "Their Satanic Majestic Request" and much more!!
@theulv Want to say what a great clip you made here with all the original British L.P.s that i used to save my money to collect as a teenager in the mid '70s cos i was a bit too young in the 60s ! ; i'm British so i didnt mean getting them on imports either ; i used to go to the big shops in Cardiff where they stocked 'em all !
I have all of them except the fisrt, Out Of Our Heads, Aftermath, and A Bigger Bang. The Best albums are the 6 from 67 Satanic Majesties-73 Goats Head Soup. My personal favorite is Sticky Fingers, but the other 5 are very close.
Let it Bleed and Voodo Lounge are my top two favorites. But as Jagger once reflected when asked which was his favorite Rolling Stones song of all time- "they are all like children, you love them all, each in a different way".
thought 22 was low, counted my c.d's -41, but youre right most of the others were compilation or livealbums (9),hard to pick a fave but maybe "Beggars".
It's interesting how we all have different tastes. I agree with Under My Thumb, Hand of Fate, Love is Strong and to a lesser degree Jigsaw Puzzle. I would have chose Monkey Man, Sway, Tumblin Dice, 100 Yrs Ago, If You Cant Rock me, Beast of Burden, Emotional Rescue, Start Me Up, Too Tough, Had it With You, Almost Hear You Sigh. B to B too bad to even pick one, well maybe Gunface. This Place is Empty.
I'm 45 and it's sad to know with them being in their late 60s, I can't expect to rock.
please someone help us we had a rolling stones cd, it was green with multiple pics on it and it had all the great songs on it and we searched everywhere on the internet for it, we cannot find the name of it any help would b awesome. it wasnt the girls, cd or tattoo you but it resembled both
There is one other band that's reigns as the best and I think you know who it is, hint begins with a "B" and ends in an "S", there are seven letters all together in their name. Although I am a fan of the other band I must say the Stones are my No. 2 group and they do kick ass. Been buying and listening to their records, yes records since 1968, got every LP they released. Keep rocking greatest rock and roll band. Oh yeah and remember, "All You Need Is Love", oops ! there goes the hint.
