  • the soundtrack is really awesome. It's a pitty that most of the new games don't have such great soundtracks

  • I love this game!:D

  • DO A BARREL ROLL!!!!

  • this is the level with that barrel dudes lol

  • this soundtrack rocks brings back my good memories of this game :)

  • My favorite parts are either 1:40 and 4:10

  • This music is great

  • This is my top favorite music of Rayman 2 The Great Escape :)

  • it is like one of the best levels :3

  • ...GOOOO! Rayman: What the f... BOOM! U lost.

  • the marimba in this track is amazing

  • @F3nyx what in the world is a marimba? *looks on google images*

  • My favorite song in the game.

  • I particularly remember this level because of some copy protection bullcrap when i played it on my PC... i got an original copy and when i starrted that level, a giant robo pirate head popped up, blocked about 90% of the screen and said "CD MISSING" or somethin. I eventually got a patch for it on a 3.5" floppy disk so I could play it again... god was i afraid of not being able to keep playing it. I was a little kid at the time and liked this game A LOT. ;)

  • @hoques1432 I'm experiencing this problem with my legitimate copy of the game. Do you know where I could find the patch?

  • CHAIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

    WOOOOO OH SHI-

    game over

  • 4:10 I always liked this part, and I still do.

  • this level is better that sixflags

  • This was my favorite lvl, just the fact that 1/2 of the level youre in a chair and it was really fun dodging stuff.

but i always hated the barrelmen (or whatever they are called)

  • the N64 uses N64-midi versions of the songs, while the other versions use the actual tracks, which most likely contain a mix of high-quality midi samples and real instrumentation.

  • can you upload the rayman revolution music when you are entering the cave at rainbow creek where ly is

  • the first round is the easiest...you can see where the next lum is and turn the chair around

  • "Rayman 2: The Great Escape" is a very good game, i like play it.

The new part of rayman i boring, this chapter is the best. Thi's soundtracks, graphic & climate are's awesome.

  • The sky was always cloudy... it was creepy, but really cool. Robot Pirates may be hokey, but at least they weren't Robot Ninja Pirate Ghost Zombie Monkeys, right? Anyway, you are right. My only problem with the game is that my other computer keeps having glitchy moments when I play, like the sound will jog, STOP COMPLETELY, the keyboard will stop working, my mouse will appear in the middle of the screen...

Oh well. Rayman 2 is too complex for Windows 7, lol.

  • @Galedos Sadly most old games don't work on Vista dn windows 7 :(

  • @BoydTheMilkmanX

Its a little playing with compatability but I got rayman 2 to work on Vista.

  • @BoydTheMilkmanX switch compatibility mode to win 2000 or 98

  • Yeah youre right. I was thinking, well, that it was played in midi on the N64 and made with midi but played in mp3 on or something like that on the pc^^ But whatever^^

  • Yeah maybe. But theres a lot of orchestral schore and sometimes chorus in some of the songs, and I dont think you can do that in midi. Would be strange if some songs were midi in the pc version and some not. Also, the folder for the sounds in the game takes up 160 megs of data :P

  • I loved this level!

  • Rollercoaster challenge. Memories, I use to fail this one nonstop.

  • I like the N64 Version of this theme alot better!

  • B-cuz there superty secrety! SHH!

  • I like this game was in the xbox live bazar

  • I hope they release this game for Wii shop channel

  • me too

  • Yeah but the N64 version doesnt have this good sound :(. The best thing would be a PSN/ XBLA release with all the content from rayman 2 revolution that I haven't experienced (only have the pc version).

  • WHAT? u gotta b kidding the n64 music was the original and sounded better an suited the game alot more

  • Rayman 2 came out on pc and n64 the same day, so youre wrong there. The pc had the glorious interactive orchestrated soundtrack. They had to make some compromises in sound quality on the N64 version, and so they made it in midi instead.

I guess its your opinion what is superior, but I dont why you think the music in the n64 version suited the game more.
