Anyone that thinks SRT-4s are slower than a G35 know absolutely NOTHING about cars or SRTs. SRTs run high 13s stock...that means no mods. A G35 is a mid-high 14 second car at best. 0-60 runs are not races...a full race goes 1/4 at the least, and by that time stock for stock the SRT-4 will pull a bus length. Hell, a $2 wastegate spring mod to an SRT and slicks will put it in the 12s. Seriously people.. quit internet racing. SRT4s > G35s.. there's no way you can say otherwise.

When a car starts to move forward weight is transfered to the back. thus causing fwd to have traction issues around 250 hp. power isnt anything if you cant put it to the ground. power to wieght isnt the only thing to take into consideration. the srt4 is fwd and has less drivetrain loss. Other factors are pwr bands/torque curves and gearing. Just a small lesson for you. ;)

srt4s are really fast but honestly you have to race them against boosted cars. If tools are buying g35s/350z for 0-60 runs they are wasting their money.
SRT4's almost ALWAYS get beat off the line, they just dont launch well. They always pull in the second half of the race once they hook up. Also, i saw this srt was full, which significantly slows them down. So that could also be why he didnt beat him worse. That G35 sounded like the guy put a fart cannon on it too, sounded shitty.

The srt4 just can't compete vs a boosted vq. after im done playing with my SR, soon (hopefully) i will drop in an ls7 into my 240sx and make some real power. until then i will finish school and get a job with my major.

SRT4's almost ALWAYS get beat off the line, they just dont launch well. They always pull in the second half of the race once they hook up. Also, i saw this srt was full, which significantly slows them down. So that could also be why he didnt beat him worse. That G35 sounded like the guy put a fart cannon on it too, sounded shitty.

well no i didnt do my research on srt4, i know more about rotary engines than pistons but as far as i know it probably either the neons or another chrysler engine in it that was added with a turbo,intercooler,dual exhaust. I know the srt4 is a neon based platform just as the mazdaspeed 3 is to the 3, sti to wrx, evo to lancer...catch my drift?? Ive never raced an srt4 but they look pretty quick from this video. To each their own, id still take the G35
