It seems that, like the Groovie Goolies, the Cats' better songs went unreleased. The album would have been stronger if some of these tracks had been on it!
All of the Cattanooga Cats videos seem to comprise of the same "elements" sometimes in different sequences but, yes, this video is extremely similar in many ways to the "How Did I Ever Get So Lucky?" video.
When production started, the songs were animated "from scratch" with video following the lyrics closely. The ratings were not what HB expected and they started cutting corners. First only elements from various earlier songs were re-used (often successfully) but eventually HB just gave up and started dropping whole videos over completely unrelated songs, as you see here. Since the songs were all exactly 1:45 long, it was easy.

Don´t you recognize the style? The songs were composed and performed by Beach Boys members. : )

My Bad: Video from "I Never Knew" is a blend of "How Did I Ever Get so Lucky" and "Mother May I?"

Geez, these songs were pure '60s pop heaven! Just sweet enough without giving you a toothache. This collection should be on a CD.
