You gotta realize the best fighters are in japan. Hes 36-1 and his hardest fights have been against fighters from japan. Hes very good but i dont think hes the true 135 champ. Mizugaki wasnt a top fighter in japan and took this fight on short notice. So to me torres record is overblown but so many american fighters are cause of the system and promtoing. You never really know whos any good.
I have yet to see a japanese fighter come to the us and be a consistent factor. Every time they come to the US, they have all of this hype and end up getting worked! Please let me know of one, because I like the different styles of the japanese fighters. Oh yeah.. Cung Le doesn't count. He's sick though!!!

It's when the cartilage of the ear breaks, gets filled with blood and fluid..If it doesn't get drained right away or taken care of than it can become permanent..The problem is that after it gets fixed, it needs time to heal. But if your training for a fight, you can't afford to take that time off. So fighters just deal with it and that its the result. I have it and it's painful and uncomfortable, but training is fun ;)
Also, if the opt to get it fixed, how long is it gonna be till they get it again? The answer, not very long. So it's just a lot cheaper to leave it alone.

No problem :) Also, I saw an interview where he talks about walking in streets at 150. If he is a natural 150 pounder then it should be no problem for him to fight as a 155er. There's plenty of guys there for him like Sherk, Sanchez, Stevenson, Escudero, Guillard, Florian, Penn, Maynard.. That list goes on and on.. This guy is wasting his talent at 135.. If he is really the best pound for pounder at that weight then he needs to move up to 155 and fight in the UFC. Otherwise I wont watch him
