too bad the times werent working. i would like to see what you got. i ran a 16.9378@81.66mph in my 08 reg cab shortbed f150 with the 4.2L V6 and a 5 speed. only mod is K&N CAI. beat a 96 ram 4x4 by half a second and was going 4mph faster. dont know if it was a 318 or a 360 tho. i have the video on youtube. but it doesnt show the times. i have the slips tho.

I have pulled a trailor with a can-am 650, Grizzley 700 and a King Quad 700 with the bed loaded down also. no issues at all pulling anything up and down the Ozark mountains I'm not saying these things are street rods but they are worth the money. Just because someone knocked your lollypop out of your hand at daycare doesn't mean you have to be a dick to make yourself feel better. Some people can't afford the extra G for a V8 when a 6 works fine

i agree with you. but partially disagree. this v6 is actually awful on gas...haha. in regards to the "wish it was a v8" remark...my truck has no problem with the 4.7 rams....especially in the city. even hemi's get a run for the money. but once we get anywhere near highway speeds, it's over for me.

these guys probably drive the buick century their grandma gave them, or maybe they have really small dicks. All they want to do is piss u off. I love my v6 ram. Mines a 08 6spd. She does all i need. Has almost as much HP as the old 318's.
Have a pair of '08s. One with the 3.7 and the other with the 5.7. The 3.7 gets better MPG in the city but about the same MPG on the hwy as the HEMI. The 5.7 is a blast to drive,while the 3.7 is......um...boring.
I agree i have to pretty much gun it just to maintain a constant speed while going up steep hills. But it still pulls cars well and gets around with good gas milage so no complaints
eh...it takes a lot to get even a little muscle out of them. if i got the truck and it was my only vehicle, i'd be punching myself for not getting the v8. but i use it for what a truck's for...so burning out and shit isn't what i need.

get an intake and headers, then a chip, then go from there. also, lose the spacer.
airram is a good site. headers are cheap.
