  • SchfRpt, you read these older posts? I know you are a very awesome person. If I would have been a follower then I would have looked for a $50 bill to send. But, I do have a question? Why do politicians need "MY" money to run? Over 1/2 of them are multimillionaires. Is there a good link/resource I could read? I understand 'this is how it is'. As I said I do donate. So, I am not complaining - I am wondering. Why is this how it is? A reply from anyone is welcome.

  • SCAMM!

  • SCAMM!

  • Typical capitalist scumbag looking to profit off others...

  • All this Jew boy wants is cash. Fund your own shit, your the one thats going to profit if you win. And if you do win will you give the money back ? come good on your promises ? or are you just like the other jews, money hungry ? I say Ron Pauls the man

  • Mr. Schiff!, Please address the crimes committed by JPMorgan in their manipulation of the Metals Market and the attempted assassination of metals trader, Andrew Maguire!

  • Schiffty Pete the Neocon. Fortunately for the people of Connecticut, Shiffty is still last in the polls.

  • I pumped in 50$ last week

  • I pumped in 50$ last week

  • what forums is he talking about??????????

  • Man, I love ya, but I hate this money money money thing. But, since you are a money guy, I can understand your plight. Peter Schiff, do you like Rage Against the Machine? You ought to take the song "Take the Power Back" as your campaign slogan. Ask em' if you can use the song and if you can you will reach a much wider audience. Yet, the anarchist style may be a problem.... maybe in the future.... good luck and I hope you can make the change without the big B's bringing you down.

  • @GuidofromOtsego Was this some kind of late April Fool's joke? Rage Against the Machine is explicitly communist.

  • @kentafan123 It was a joke but I would have to say that Rage is not explicitly communist. Socialist would be the correct term. Symbols can be distorted by people that used them for evil. Communism is devoid of ownership rights and complete government control. Rage is far from believing in that rhetoric.

  • challenge to see how many people are willing to throw their money straight into the ocean and the bottom of the sea~

  • @QuasiConvexAnalysis Why do you say that?

  • @christo930

because he has a very minimal chance of winning. if you have money, you should go and speculate on something instead of donating to this idiotic campaign. here is the logic (and it progressively gets worse):

schiff to win republican nomination odds: very low

schiff to win senate seat odds: extremely low

schiff to achieve any of the objectives he has outlined if he becomes a senator odds: 0 to negative

now tell me how this is not throwing money into the ocean if you donate?

  • @QuasiConvexAnalysis

your a seven layer looser Quasi do the world some good an jump off a bridge

  • @elieakaMrextreme

it might help if you could spell "loser" properly, loser.

it might do the world some good if you studied english before posting such dumbass comments, you moron.

  • @QuasiConvexAnalysis Using this logic, nobody should ever run for public office unless they are very happy with the current government and way of doing things. The only way things are ever going to change is if people who have different political ideas run for office and win. Do you think if Peter gets elected it won't be noticed, especially if Rand Paul wins as well? Just look at the wave Ron Paul created and he didn't even win!

  • @christo930

wrong, thats not the logic i outlined at all - do not twist what i said. you can have an alternative platform all you like, as long as you have the necessary financial, corporate, political and/or military support.

peter schiff has 0 of the above 4, thats why hes destined to be a political pariah.

ron paul has achieved nothing, except a lot of whining. wave of what? show me one bill he has passed that makes any difference. getting thumbs up from poor peasants on utube means nothing.

  • @QuasiConvexAnalysis

People like you are the problem. You run your mouth and never provide solutions. Ron Paul can't get bills passed because they threaten the system. It's like saying the 1 straight guy in crackhead alley got outvoted because he voted against crack. You can pretend you are better than poor peasants but it's only in your mind. How about you make it a rule to provide useful commentary or just not reply? It's a good rule of thumb for everyone.

  • @brown55061

the solution is to take all of the money from nosy, unproductive peasants like you and leave you to your own devices. which is exactly what is happening.

  • @QuasiConvexAnalysis

Since you are clearly ignorant of the principles this nation was founded on, and you support the notion of communistic devices, I think YOU should get out of my country and go be a waste of oxygen somewhere else. It's very obvious by all your comments that you have money and think that makes you a better human than a person who does not. You are unbelievably shallow and pathetic. Maybe you should reconsider commenting irrational thoughts King know-it-all.

  • @brown55061

who said i'm in your country, you idiot. read my profile. why would i want to be in a country full of ignorant, uneducated, classless and poor consumerist peasants like you and who waste oxygen to boot? maybe thats why you morons need a carbon tax.

and if you are poor, then you deserve to be abused. don't think that this bravado on the internet will do you any good, we will get you financially in real life whether you like it or not.

  • @QuasiConvexAnalysis You say don't support someone until they have financial, corporate, political and /or military support? In other words, don't support someone until the establishment does?

If supporting Peter Schiff, if you support his ideas, is throwing good money after bad, what is supporting other politicians?

Ron Paul started a movement that is gaining momentum, these things are going to take time. We are talking about a nation that has over 300 million people.

    Look what the Chinese did

  • @christo930

what are you talking about. i already said 'alternative platform' in my earlier posting, what don't you understand about the word 'alternative'. an example but not necessarily a good one is hitler - he was not part of the establishment.

and what exactly did the chinese do? if you are talking about china's big economic leap forward, well, it was initiated by the communist government aka the establishment.

  • @QuasiConvexAnalysis The Chinese stopped traffic BIG TIME in 1988 and 1989 and culminated in the Tienanmen square massacre. Tienanmen square is what everyone reads about but that was the highlight of over a year a very large scale protests. The Chinese gov got the army involved and millions of Chinese LITERALLY stopped the army by blocking roads and showing their babies and saying "Hey, we are your parents, brothers and sisters" and finally the gov cracked down, but the citizens won.

  • @christo930 And to say that the Communists were responsible for the Chinese miracle is an absolute absurdity. Mao's great leap forward resulted in the starvation of 50 million people and the destruction of forests from their idiotic metal program which not only wasted all that energy, but lots of finished iron was melted down and the end result was nothing but pig iron.

  • @christo930

well the communist party is in power now. so whatever has been achieved to this day can be accredited to them.

  • @christo930

don't make me laugh. it was not millions of chinese ok. i'm chinese, i live in hong kong and i was a 1st witness to the event. and its "tiananmen" - learn to spell properly before you write such baseless propaganda.

the citizens did not win anything ok - deng xiaoping had already started china on a capitalist path way before the idiotic protests.

next time, pick a topic you know intimately before exposing yourself, otherwise you just look like an idiot by making erroneous comments.

  • @QuasiConvexAnalysis You are an idiot and know nothing of the events of which I am speaking. Tiananmen (if your best criticism is a misspelling...) square was many months after the protests I am speaking of which is why I said it ended with the crackdown at Tiananmen square. There were many millions of Chinese blocking the roads all over the country and the army couldn't get through. In any event, that was a turning point for the Chinese people. It is WELL documented that over 50m perished.

  • @christo930

50m haha. that is so baseless and idiotic i almost felt compelled not to reply to an absolute moron like you. i already told you i was a 1st witness to the event, i think that speaks more for itself than coming from a foreign dork like you who knows nothing about china, the chinese people, the chinese language or events in china.

  • @QuasiConvexAnalysis You show your ignorance well. You are an absolute moron.

  • @christo930 - moron:

Estimates of deaths from different sources, in descending order:

10,000 dead (including civilians and soldiers) Soviet Union

    7,000 deaths NATO intelligence

4,000 to 6,000 civilians killed, but no one really knows Edward Timperlake

Over 3700 killed, excluding disappearance or secret deaths and those denied medical treatment PLA defector citing a document circulating among officers.

2,600 had officially died by the morning of 4 June the Chinese Red Cross.

  • @QuasiConvexAnalysis What are these numbers supposed to be referring to?

  • @QuasiConvexAnalysis I am not referring to a specific event, I am talking about long term deaths in China during the reign of communism in China.

  • @christo930

haha. what exactly is your point? that communism is bad because mao happened to be a dictator who liked offing people? what a moron you are. mao could have practiced anything and if he was in power, he would have caused as many deaths. in that context, christianity has caused far more deaths and also this so called democracy in the US also - just via wars with other countries.

you are as thick as a plank, i'm not even sure its worth putting you down.

  • @QuasiConvexAnalysis His economic and collectivist policies were responsible for most of the deaths. Just look at how much wood and metal was destroyed during his big metallurgy program! I don't support America's foreign policy and I am an atheist and am against Christianity.

  • From Califorinia - I gave on day one

  • Ron Paul for president.... Peter schiff for vice president!!!!

  • Hey Peter,

2 million is just a number, the country needs you. onward and upward!

  • Mr. Schiff, my suggestion is, you have to get Ron Paul supporters in on the action.

You have to form the alliance and get the movement started!

  • YouTube takes some time to process videos

  • Good luck Peter Schiff!

  • Peter, we need your voice and like-minded ones in Washington SOOO BADLY. This Californian made her donation.

  • I donated $25 last night

  • you guys know how much government policy adversely effects the market and just sucks value out of your life without you knowing? if donating 33% my income got peter schiff elected in every state, i would be gaining money. thats how sickly retarded government is right now. Probably would be break even at 46%.

  • @DickeyRogers fuck, it probably be break even at 64%

  • Aaaw... It didn't reach $2 millions on the website :(

  • @dradeel he should of gave us a few day notice. he posted at like 3pm wth, everyone doesnt check everyday

  • @DickeyRogers Agreed. This 1 is even more ridiculous. He apparently posted this at 9PM and basically expects a 3 hr later deadline to affect a very large number of people. Not gonna happen. I donated myself, but like you say everyone doesn't check for his videos daily. Plan this stuff out better Peter!

  • @dradeel he should of gave us a few day notice. he posted at like 3pm wth, everyone doesnt check everyday

  • If global corps can donate to campaigns to help elect puppets then liberty loving voters must start doing the same. We should no longer only focus on our own states but rather the entire country. We need to support all liberty candidates in every state. That's the only way we are gonna really be able to clean house.

  • I'll give you my vote....but not my money. I just lost my job and it's not coming back anytime soon. The small company had to shut it's doors after 40 years.

  • Sorry Peter. I'm on the other side of the world in japan. I wish I was back in the states though. As I watch this video, it's already the next morning there.

  • if i wasn't employed i'd donate more, but i donated $20 this quarter.

  • schiff baby gots some serious money!

  • Wait a second. Peter Schiff keeps $500,000 in the pocket of his pyjamas?!

He must be expecting that economic apocalypse to come any second now ...

Oh wait ... he didn't mean, "his pocket", literally ... right ...

    ... nevermind.

  • @IRONMANAustralia Of course not, he keeps it under his mattress :)

  • @IRONMANAustralia Haha lolz...

  • dam schiff! use that 500k toward a yacht and kick it in maui for a while brah. Nice job on your campaign!

  • You also need to work with Ron Paul and Campaign For Liberty much, much closer - they are your base of support and donations. If you haven't figured that out already, you never will!

  • promotion of the 500k challenge is to late.

  • lol..i think Petey had a drink or two. Not blaming him, just think it is funny.

  • Peter, if you had started this challenge a week ago, you probably would've reached 2 million. 6 hours notice is not a lot. Still, I donated, and you got pretty close!

  • $2,000,000 for a seat that pays $170,000 something is truly wrong with this country.

  • @RP4409 It's sad man, like here in california a candidate for gov meg whitman has spent MILLIONS! thing is....why does it have to cost so fucking much to run for office? to me it's a sport reserved for the rich and privelaged opposed to ordinary citizens who might bring more to the table. Yes something is wrong.

  • I donated bud, I don't even live in your state but I believe

    keep up the good work

The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home.

    James Madison

  • Yeah, California is important, but you forgot Hawaii! I just made my 3rd donation to your campaign, and lovin' it. Go Schiff!

  • By the way, if you mouse over the 'CC' button on this video and choose 'Transcribe Audio', you'll get some pretty hilarious subtitles.

  • @gregarious24 You're right! lol

  • @gregarious24 fantastic stuff

  • @gregarious24

Peter Schiff is running to fix a corrupted Washington DC. It's called public service...

  • @gregarious24 You can donate to charity anytime you want.

  • @gregarious24

Actually, what is laughable is the idea of donating to a charity while you are desperately fund raising to hit a critical milestone in your own campaign.

    That would be irony.

  • I'll represent California!

  • test

  • Thumbs up....way to put some skin in the game....

  • CALIFORNIA POWER

  • Reach into your pocket anyway Peter. I make $25k a year and can't afford that much. If you care about your cause, why hold anything back? Put as much in your campaign as you can afford and get to congress!

  • your supporters are considerate enough to save you 500k. :) Having said that as a half joke, you've got my full support. Schiff 2010 for the win.

  • I just donated another $10, even though I don't think that you will meet your $2million goal?

  • If I wasnt a broke asshole then Id donate more.

  • If I wasnt a broke asshole then Id donate more.

  • ok i get it now...lol

  • I chipped in my buck-oh-five (actually $25). Best of luck!

  • Good luck, Peter! I can't donate since I'm from Canada but I'm rooting for you and trying to spread the word!

  • GO PETER GO!!!

  • You have all our support Peter.

  • The war on drugs , has taken away more freedom than health care ever has, but there is not big push to stop that why?

  • What forums is he talking about?

  • I'm unemployed at the moment, a broke 21 year old and I managed to cough up $25 dollars. Peter is the best political candidate I've seen in my lifetime and I'm happy to contribute what I can.

  • Senator salary is $174,000 a year plus pension (between $35k - $60k for life) and health benefits.

will you call for the end of this wasteful government spending and opt for an average salary closer to working Americans ($43k) and as a conservative personally reject the tax payer government pension, refuse the tax payer government health care and call for public funding of campaigns?

  • @marniespeaks wow is that true???? 35k-60k for life? Thats absurd, your system really need 'change'...

  • @marniespeaks Ron Paul does return part of his wage to thje treasury. If someone is close from being like Ron Paul, it is Peter Schiff (and Rand Paul)

  • @philippe1985

Ron Paul return: based on the rate of inflation only - He accepts tax payer government health care, but not the pension.

I asked if Peter would do the above.

  • donated earlier today and 2 days ago. Just sent another 15. not much but every bit helps. Hope you guys out West can really go the extra mile tonight.

  • Good luck, hope you reach your goal.

  • Awesome Mr. Schiff. Looking forward to november
