Islam honors all the prophets of God. it is unfortunate that those of us who have never read the Holy Quran deny that it is the word of God. We came to this country different religions, anamists, Muslims etc., but not Christian. Islam means: submit to the will of God & it does NOT TEACH racism, however, racism is rampant in Islam as it is rampant globally. The Hindis that became Muslims have improved but still practice their cast (racist) system; the Saudis are flagrant racists (minimal high level Imams esp at Hajj); the Bosnians/Serbs Muslims are racist (minimal Blacks in positions of power), also Jordanians, etc. The NOI has peaceful relations with most Christians and Jews. Why don't the 'nation of islam' read Quran 112:1-4, if they truly believe in it. Islam does'nt believe in racism/nationalism. YES black people have been opressed and enslaved by the white christian, but that does not give the nation any right to follow in the christian's foot-steps to set up a man-god i.e. fard, similar to Jesus (pbuh) as an equal to Allah (SwT). Islam honors all the prophets of God. it is unfortunate that those of us who have never read the Holy Quran deny that it is the word of God. We came to this country different religions, anamists, Muslims etc., but not Christian. Christianity was denied to us, but then we were allowed to practice it because we were revolting and the Master was afraid and put us back into submission with religion. If you read the words of the Holy Quran you will recognize God there. We are one not the enemy.

Jesus may not have been called a "Christian," but you cannot deny that today his followers gladly wear that name. That is a documented fact and not my opoinion. No doubt, the term "Christian" was originally used as a term of abuse and mockery, but today such is not the case. I still say Farakhan wants to be Christian, but that would be death to him. @robin4good If Whites were our brothers, they wouldn't have done what they have done and continue to do. By the way, I know Malcolm's story better than you do. Not the fairy tales that you hear about him. I've read the Holy Qur'an several times in my 20 years in the Nation, and it bears witness to what the Hon. Elijah Muhammad teaches. I've never been lied to by Min. Farrakhan, or the Hon. Elijah Muhammad or those that follow that teaching.

@lgbizzmann - that is sad my brother. I am black, Malcolm X was black - but the difference is that me and Malcom x are Orthodox Muslims (1.5 billion other humans are), and you are influenced by the Nation of Islam who represent a few 1000s are are a reaction to the KKK and other hateful white supremecists. The truth is: we are all humans, believe in Allah alone, and die and meet Allah in the hereafter, so we should work harder for peace and unity. Thanks brother.

@pagav : Remember Farrakhan is a member of the Nation of Islam. They read the Bible to understand the Koran. I remember that from years ago. I believe that they are not recognize by the Muslims in the Muslim countries.
