  • my favorite part 1:32

  • Real brave attacking America, someone who will never cut your head off and scream allah ackar as you are screaming for mercy. America will never take you woman and kill them for not covering their faces. America will never blow up upit buildings. These comedians are really fucking brave, I will give them the utmost respect if they go to Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan etc dress like a jew, westerner, American etc whos bound and ask them when hes gonna get his head sawed off with a dull knife.

  • @cwood4ever What does anything you just said have to do with this video?

  • All these people in the class. I just don't know how I could exterminate them. IF I would blow them off, would not be better than them. What to do?

  • i dunno, couldve been funnier.

  • Lol, I love the stereotype older office lady coming in, "This is a priiivate claaasssrooom. Eeeexcuse me, out noow please."

  • ahah, I'll go to the human rights class down the road

  • john yoo is literally a mental giant relative to these two couch dwelling fucks

  • @rigatony019 Yoo is "literally a mental giant"? Strange use of the word "literally" there.

  • @WG55 yea?

  • Does " Chasers War on Everything " have channel on youtube if any one know please

  • I would totally attend one of his classes! There is a huge probability that someone would do something funny...like whats in this video!

  • 'I'll go to the human rights class down the hall, you probably won't be teaching there'. XD

  • that chick at 1:24 is fuckin hot!!

  • Terrorists have no human rights.

  • Comment removed

  • ROFLMAO!!! SWEET!!!!

  • the chaser has balls, large balls, i like balls.

  • On one hand I love how these guys can laugh at the absurdity of the world but on the other it's pretty sad to think about how absurd our world is!

  • The smug arrogance of this video and the commenters is truly breathtaking.

  • @malbert34 Nope. Not joking. And no, I am not standing up for torture. I made no comment about torture.

It may be lost on you, but reality is, this is not a black and white issue. We already inflict all sorts of pain on prisoners through other means (confinement, separation from loved one's, etc.). I don't know about you, but I stood at Ground Zero and watched them dig out the bodies. I'm not so naive as to think that there are not many who want nothing more than to do it again... in Australia.

  • Oh haii Craig at 0.39

  • These Chaser guys have BALLS! They are soldiers fighting for a better world for all of us, including you worthless ungrateful conservaturds.

  • CANADA!!!

  • Question: who were the students clapping for? The chasers awesome protest or the asswhip of a teacher?

  • @chewykiller I think they were applauding the teacher, but I hope I'm wrong.

  • Wow, that was a gutsy move.

  • @ninuxy That's gutsy? Not as gutsy as publicly declaring that the President may crush the testicles of a child to interrogate the child's father. This man should be rotting in a cell, not being paid by the State of California.

  • @bloomingdedalus When you declare your enemy as monster, you are bound to treat innocent people like one as well.

Now let's go talk to the guy who we "know" (who knows how!) that planted a nuclear bomb somewhere in a busy city so we can crush his testicles.

  • @ninuxy The Yoo quote involved the crushing of a child's testicles. Such a hypothetical is laughable - I have heard similar ones employed many times. The Geneva Conventions were sealed in the blood of millions of innocent people. To overturn them for convenience is despicable and profane. And, the government has yet to produce one shred of evidence to the public that torture has produced information has saved a single life.

  • answering 'FAIL' instead of having a discussion is so 2008. Its a loser way out.

  • @saspley Of course, that implies that you are contributing to a discussion.

  • looll!!!! I'd love to move to but everytime i do my balls get buzzed lmaooo

  • @chasers..... ypu got BAlLs

  • Bravo i give you guys mad props for calling john yoo out. the guy is an animal. i cant imagine he is teaching young people.

  • You know this video was actually one of the reasons why hes now considerd a crimnal by everybody?!

  • oh...so this is a comedy show that gets laughs from being no different from leftist morons who protest everything?

if these people think Abu Ghraib is a representation of the Bush Administration's legal position on interrogation...they are just idiots

  • Ever notice how as soon as you learn a new word or new fact, it suddenly appears everywhere? We watched a video about Addington, Cheney, and Yoo just yesterday in US Government class. It's almost as if someone's watching me and subtly altering my search results and the wording of things I read. Oh yeah, that's right, we're also reading 1984 in English, so that would explain it!

  • need to leave NOW haha

  • I love how that white comes in like she is security n shit hahahaha

    white people.

  • The students were clapping for Yoo...no kidding. These are chikenhawk law students who will rather stay here and use their mouths only to fight in Iraq. I'd suggest they suit up and head out to the desert to fight.

  • whats with the silence at the end??? oh well, funny prank nonetheless

  • george w. bush, who in a way is responsible for this stuff, is kind of popular in the south and parts of the midwest. he's popular with white trash.

  • @exbronco1980 He happens to have gotten elected by approximately 50% of your country. Twice.

We all realise you hate anyone that is more conservative than you are, but kindly step back into your wacko minority corner. Thanks.

  • No matter what point you want to assert, don't ever think you can walk into a live classroom and disrupt it and get away with it scot-free.

  • nice hooters shirt.

  • @saspley dude....they are australian

  • They are Australian, and they have a live audience no laugh track.

  • @saspley fail.

  • @saspley ahahahahah! epic fail

  • how do u wrtie those so fast DAMNN u must be like intelligent er sumthin

  • i wish i had the balls to do something like this

  • This is excellent! Brilliant! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Five stars, favorite, and sent links to my friends.

Beautiful job. Wish I'd have thought of it.

    Thanks! You made my day!

  • lol nice job

  • I think Jesse Ventura said it best: "You give me a waterboard, one hour and Dick Cheney and I'll have him confessing to the Sharon Tate murders."

VERGOGNA!

  • Who would even attend one of his classes? Do you really need to be taught to be a worthless human being?

  • @NiceFellaSteve The scum at what formerly was a very politically conscious university that now employs war criminals.

  • @bloomingdedalus Your bigotry is showing.

  • California Civil Code Part IV, Section 3510: "When the reason of a rule ceases, so should the rule itself."

Yoo, in one fell swoop, destroyed the reason behind the Geneva Conventions, he is the primary one responsible for the actions of Abu Ghraib. The Geneva Conventions were built as a dam against the monster that is human nature in war. Yoo poked a hole in that dam and destroyed the entire reason for the rule, hence invalidating the entire document for the world.

  • @NiceFellaSteve People who have never known hardship or thought in their life. The low lifes of American upper-caste.

  • @NiceFellaSteve Wait, he's HUMAN? I thought he's some shape-shifting demon like Chaney.

  • Prosecute John Yoo for crimes against humanity--then waterboard him in front of is family and W Bush.

  • So Arthuride water boarding is wrong unless it is done to people who you disagree with politically. So by extension you If these people had water boarded people or written memos allowing it you would be okay with it.. Well shit thank god they only murdered people and sawed human heads of with dull knives....

  • Torture is wrong. Those who advocate, invoke, and lead other to torture (John Yoo for example) or agree to it (George W Bush) should be executed (including those who injure or kill as seen in the actions of the Revolutionary Guard of Iran, the military of Honduras, the National Police of Peru, etc). Waterboarding is unforgiveable to defend or use--and its defenders and those who use it forfeit all right to life. I do not waterboard those who disagree with me--just those who use it.

  • @arthuride Funny how all those morals go out the window when it's the guy you don't like...

  • Yoo being allowed to teach at Berkley is one lifes greatest mysteries. Is there any school on earth more liberal than Berkley?

  • UC Santa Cruz

  • @lestliness Berkley is not liberal anymore.

  • @bloomingdedalus ... apparently so.

  • @lestliness Praise Jesus for exterminating the liberal scum from Berkley and bringing the holy waterboarding to the terrorists.

  • I would dearly love yoo, cheney, bush junior, and any of those morons get the same treatment.

I suspect they would be screaming like mashed cats!

  • @ArtThroughtheAges All through this thread... the piously help morals about torture don't apply to people who don't agree with you... Gotta love extremist wacko hypocrisy.

  • Look at that cockroach get timid when confronted by reality.I bet all of these NWO pussies have never been punched in the face.

  • Time to prosecute this piece of garbage John Yoo for war crimes.

  • Yoo should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity and other war crimes, but it was Yoo who convinced Bush not to sign the Geneva Convention nor recognize the World Court at The Hague as Yoo had already committed numerous assaults on human freedom before he gained his post to advocate waterboarding. I fail to find one shred of humanity in this miscreant, and like W Bush he will go down in history as the greatest evil of the 20th century.

  • John Woo greatest evil of the 20th century....yeah normally that would be a crazy thing to say but nope, you reference obscure German literature about prosecuting witches.

Something tells me that you have a poster of Che and you seethe with anger when you are reminded that he executed children, tortured people and executed people with out trials. But hey he was against imperialism right..well not Soviet imperialism...

  • You are reading books published by Regency? I do not know where you are getting your "facts" but Che did not execute children (that was recently done by Alan Garcia's gang of goons in Peru, and by Alberto Fujimori), tortured people (Che was tortured), and executed without trial--that is in no reputable history record I am aware of. You must belong to Palin's fanclub and are a supporter of Yoo and Cheney? Try reading the records in South America--not propaganda for the GOP.

  • No buddy I am Canadian first of all, never lived or voted in the USA. I am not forgiving the crimes of those you state. Numerous sources including his own diary and personal letters are very clear that Che did indeed execute people with out trial, personally shot a 14yr old boy, and order the murder of Bolivian peasants who didn't support his uprising.

I know a Bolivian surgeon who confirms the last part as he was told it by peasants when he was younger.

But yeah John woo worse then Hittler

  • Bolivia's army executed Che in Oct 68 and "found" his diary--that was published by Castro (in the USA it was published by Ramparts). I own a copy of both editions. Where does it say he shot a 14 year old boy. He writes about his physical afflictions (Flatulence is a common theme) and his frustration that the peasants he was helping would not join forces. What version are you reading? Personal letters? There is one Oct 65 to Fidel. Where are the others?

  • "I ended the problem with a .32 caliber pistol, in the right side of his brain.... His belongings were now mine." Che's Sierra Maestra diary 1957, speaking about the murder of Eutimio Guerra.

He wrote to his father that he enjoyed killing.

The accounts of a former prisoner

Pierre San Martin talk about his killing of a child.

I have a feeling that lots of people deserved to be executed in your eyes for more "crimes" then water boarding..Crimes against the state must be dealt with, no?

  • Lets go through the list of moronic things you said.

    1. The Geneva Convention was signed when Bush was 3.

    2. Bush was a Governor of Texas up until 2001 so you might mean the 21st century.

    3. You claim waterboarding is unforgivable, but then say you just water board other people who water board. Does that mean your actions are unforgivable and that advocate it and therefore should be executed..hmm I think so...

Your Stalinist mindset is impressive, you'll be putting people on box cars for sure

  • The first Geneva Convention was signed in 1929; the one you are referring to was signed i 1949; but the one I referred to was the one that John Yoo told Bush not to sign in 2001 as Yoo "advised that President George W. Bush and the U.S. military did not have to comply with any international laws in the handling of detainees in the war on terrorism." (Bush reversed himself in 2002 for "detainees"). The Supreme Court declared Bush president in 2000 & he resigned as governor of TX. Try reading.

  • Bush didn't sign the convention, he didn't have to..The USA already ratified the last version.

Yoo advised him on several matters, one of which pertains to how unlawful combatants were handled, and how the convention applied to them. Note that members of the Iraqi army were treated in full compliance with the Convention when they were captured.

Bush was sworn in in 2001,that's when he could make decisions. Also The year 2000 is considered the 21st century.

  • "Also The year 2000 is considered the 21st century."

    Are you fucking kidding me?

  • @DrArthurFrederickIde The inauguration was on 20 January, 2001 and that is when he became President. Grow up.

  • @EasyEs Good call. You just wonder if these people ever stop to think...

  • @DrArthurFrederickIde See, right here... you domonstrate your blind, mindless hatred.

Bush is "the greatest evil of the 20th century."

Hitler? Yeah, he was bad I guess, but he sure didn't hold a candle to that Bush guy. Hitler killed millions of Jews because they were Jews? Yeah, but Bush may have been aware that some of his guys used enhanced interogation to stop gutless terrorists from blowing up more civilians.

How are we supposed to take you seriously?! Good grief.

  • Einstein said, "It is curious -- curious that physical courage should be so common in the world, and moral courage so rare." Justification can always be found for committing despicable acts, because, as a species, we lie to ourselves. The truth is that the memory or anticipation of others' despicable acts doe not grant us license for our own.

  • so bad ass. i love it guys; keep up the good work.

  • we need more ppl like that dude in this world. PROTEST!!

  • Greattttttttttttttt. For him was easy to say that the president can even order to crash a boy´s testicles if his father was considered a terrorist suspect. Whoever, seeing directly what he created was not that cool. Thanks guys

  • Yoo took his absurd torture practices straight out of the manual for the Spanish Inquisition of the Roman Catholic church. He makes current cardinals look like saints, for by his machinations he is determined on total mind control. I am surprised he does not use the book "Malleus Maleficarum" by Heinrich Kramer and James Sprenger as his text book on justice--Chief Justice Roberts and Justices Scalia, Thomas, and Alioto do--openly.

  • well done

  • This one is easy:

Yoo is a war criminal and deserves ....

Well, there is that old saying:

"What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gonads"

    Or something close to that!

    FUCK HIM & BUSH & CHENEY & ADDINGTON & RUMSFELD & ...

  • "The United States does not torture" is about as straightforward as it gets. There is no such thing as "torture lite", i.e., "enhanced interrogation techniques". Even if there were such a thing, it wouldn't be worth doing in the first place. You know how the US found out about 7 of the 9/11 hijackers? We gave a captured Al Queda operative some sugar-free cookies. That has been the most successful interrogation since the war started. If you want any more info, feel free to argue with me ;)

  • i don't think i want to waste anymore time responding to "omgwtflolz" info he just ripped from google to sound smart.... later

  • Oh, but we've only scratched the surface of the wonderful world of torture. We haven't even talked about the 1971 Stanford Prison Experiment, Abu Ghraib, ticking timebomb scenerios or anything.

I can understand why you wouldn't want to argue with someone who does research...but to your credit, I can understand how your common sense would tell you that "enhanced interrogation techniques" might be beneficial for the US. Unfortunately, reality says otherwise.

  • Even if the ends (preventing terrorism) were justified the means (torture), it doesnt grantee that the information you obtain is accurate. If youre in pain, you will say ANYTHING in order to make the pain stop, but not necessarily the truth. Even if you do get the truth, the effort is counter productive because it rallies more people to their side. You could argue that said torture should never be made public, but then your promoting a secret autocratic establishment with unlimited authority.

  • yes, exactly

  • You do know that there is proof of torture right? It's stupid to believe the government wouldn't do something taboo just because people think its wrong.

  • The entire point is that you cannot hold other people to a higher standard when you yourself aren't meeting it.

  • wtf are you babbling about now? I DON'T CARE! Sorry i am not going to spend time oranizing my youtube thesis. shit i've spent way too much time even writing this. everybody's right on the internetz! fuckin hell...

  • I don't babble buddy, was a response to your incredibly elegant 'thesis' on finger and head chopping.

It must hurt being so smart eh genius? go rest your head in the toilet for awhile

  • Ace gag mates...Not only did you make me laugh but you made that hypocrite talking about constitutionality squirm...Great one

  • You can say whatever you damn well please about my liking Elton John, sunshine--I ain't ashamed. Nor am I a gay male.

  • This made my month, Bravo, gents.

  • Golden!

BTW John Yoo should be behind bars.

  • Kick ass! Don't let these bastards breathe a second without feeling the shame they ought to.

  • Yoo just hanging out!

  • someone explain to me why Berkeley has hired this man. and please tell me students are protesting his office daily. honest to christ, he should be working at Liberty University or Bob Jones, not the liberal bastion of academia. kudos to the protesters btw.

  • @liberal4ever Right. Because Christian Fundamentalists believe in torture... It amazes me that you consider yourself enlightened and open minded. Such ingorance is disturbing to watch.

  • The "you're cutting into our time" guy cracks me up.

  • Yoo gota be kidding me, this guy teaches!?! At Berkley!?! My god, they should be ashamed of themselves....wow this is outrageous.

This guy was one of the people in charge of torturing people and now he is rewarded to teach? He needs to be in jail.

  • Great stuff...Onya Chaser.

  • how can it be a private classroom if it's a public university

  • I can't believe he's teaching Int'l Human Rights Law!!! i want to puke, and punch him. Why are the last seconds silenced?

  • International Law, not International Human Rights. Different class altogether, as the prankster points out as he leaves the class.

  • Ah, nothing like a little criticism of the American government to bring out all the xenophobes. And, btw, "bonjourmimi1", the Chasers have for years "worried" about their own society and government, which you can see in most episodes of the show. And jrbwp4: your predilection for women and their underpants completely undermines any credibility you might have.

  • Oh please, Stripey, spare me the ad hominem banter. What is that anyway, an attempt at straight-bashing? Should I remark about your penchant for the young Elton John? My anecdote pointed out hypocrisy, nothing more. I didn't make a statement about all Australians or Australia. Criticizing another country's government or their citizen's videos is not xenophobic. Futile, perhaps, but not xenophobic. I imagine that the 'Chasers' other videos would provide some better context for everyone.

  • Yeah, you're right about it's being ad hominem--you just seem like a jerk.

  • It makes me sick that Berkley and Stanford have soiled their reputations by having corrupt Bush administration folks like Yoo and Rice.

    the video is great.

  • @barbarageorge You idiot. You don't have the first clue about "corruption." If you did, you wouldn't make ignorant statements like that.

  • sucks to be yoo

  • clever!

  • Yoo are going to be tried for war crimes fucker. Just give it time....it will happen.

  • Yoo is such a p*ssy!

  • Great!

  • Aussies rock!

  • GWB is a criminal, IMHO.

  • This was great. LOL

  • Very nice. Asshole Yoo could not handle seeing a person tortured.

  • Awesome

  • Oh, it was so satisfying to see the students stand up for Yoo's right to lecture to them about constitutional law. I think Charles Manson teaches a similar course at that school about private rights.

  • worry about your own criminals/terrorists . . . didn't the british send you a boat load?

  • It's Ironic that the "Author" is removing comments made by others.

"Right to Silence." It can work both ways.

  • So, what are you saying? Are you saying that it is okay for us to do it?

  • I guess I don't mind spelling it out for you. According to Yoo, it was "ok." Personally, I don't think it did us any good. So, no I am not saying it was "okay." I was merely pointing out my experience with hypocrisy in the anecdote.

  • Pointing out 'hypocrisy' through use of a single anecdote? Well done.

  • Given that the use of electricity to the 'nards well predates this lovely post 9/11 world by Algerian way (which 9/11 you say? surely not the Chilean one) I think we can just ACCEPT that it was done indiscriminately and with maximum prejudice now as well as then.

  • Comment removed

  • How horrifying that these self-absorbed weenies should have their journey to six-figure law careers interrupted for a few minutes. And late in the semester at that!

  • Comment removed

  • The students are clapping because they want to get back to their Starbucks and shopping on Telegraph.

Private Classroom she says? UC Berkeley is not a private school. It's run by State of California.

  • Comment removed

  • Half the students at UC are from other countries, like China and such. So enough of the American Bashing.

But yes the students are little drones of the torture doctrine, and it was fantastic as performance art. I like how Yoo says he will "give a certain amount of time before I report it to security", like the guy is really afraid.

    Job well done.

  • As an American, I officially apologize for the awful bastards in the right-wing here. Obama has been a real pussy about investigating and prosecuting war crimes. It's embarrassing that Yoo has to face Australian comedians rather than American judges. google "Indict Bush Now"

  • @beelzebubblicious6 So generous. I know that majority of Americans who are conservative embarrass you, but the fact is, you embarrass me. Just step off your high horse and take a few deep breaths.

  • Why is it that only some Australians came up with the idea such a thing? Why are the students allowing him on campus at all? Berkeley sure isn't the kind of place it was 40 years ago.

  • John Yoo: how odd he is so soft-spoken and unassuming.

  • lol good one, Americans are so dumb.

  • Nice!

However, (at least in Canada) I would have the blue dress lady charged with assault for touching. I did not hear her tell you you were trespassing, just to leave the classroom.

Even a security guard couldn't grab you like that...

Also, I believe 'non-students' have every right to be in the classroom. Amirite?

  • I would have wanted to slam that bitch against the wall. Fuck these people, this asshole said it was okay to torture children.

  • Look at the whoring fascists clapping at 1:05. Scum of the earth Nazis.

  • Accidentally hit the thumbs down. So sorry. I meant to hit the thumbs up. Consider this reply a thumbs up!

  • Excellent.

Everyone in that class and college should be put in Abu Ghraib and tortured and raped in exactly the same way as the Usraelis have done to their victims. ONLY THEN would these students have learnt something real!

  • Yes, that would truly be a victory for human rights! You silly bastard.

    And you spell learned funny!

  • Ragnar, you must be one of the bastard Nazi whores clapping in the class. You need an extended period in Abu Ghraib to understand Human Rights.

  • Ragbag,

learnt: "verb A past tense and a past participle of learn".

Did you miss out on school? Or did you have a lobotomy oin order to attend Yoo's class?

  • I was making a British/American joke that clearly escaped you. BTW, I have loudly opposed people like John Yoo - difference is, I might do some actual good, because I can be taken seriously. Advocating the torture and rape of anyone just makes you a parody; maybe you'll figure that out when you're all grown up.

  • @allthings509 Wow. Arrogant to boot. A wonderful cocktail, arrogance and ignorance...

  • @allthings509 Stunning ignorance and bigotry.

  • Perfection.

No a laughing matter, but incredibly on point. While you laugh, it drives the issue home with perfect precision.

Yoo belongs in jail with Bush and Cheney in adjoining cells. Sadly the current resident of the WH seems to agree with their point of view as to our Constitution.

  • That was easily one of the most clever ideas I've come across. While no one deserves to be water-boarded, I wonder who the hell would pay (and pay a lot) to listen to John Yoo give lectures on international law and the constitution? It'd be like paying to hear Hitler give a lecture on Zionism!

  • everyone in that class should be waterboarded

  • Absolutely brilliant.

    Good work, guys.
