@gojetsandpackers The Remaining Few only released one single. It's so rare and sought after that it goes for over $700 if you find a great copy! This song "Painted Air" was the B-side. I plan on doing a video for the A-side on of these days :)
@fretboardyoda Well, the original light shows of the 60's just used a simple projector to flash film, color wheels, or a pan of water with colored oils that you would swirl with a stick to get desired effects.
I'm fond of a good psychedelic song but unfortunately the feedback-ish scratchiness that comes and goes here makes me grit my teeth - in spite of the captivating light show on the screen.
This is really good and I thank you for your effort to publish all these great songs, but if I may I would just like to suggest one thing: put the name of the band on the title, instead of the generic title of the compilation.
i can't believe how people prefer justing bieber to this.., they really knew how to handle musical instruments back in the 60s, when listening to this music high the guitar feels like electrical bolts shooting through your brain and you really feel the organ, its amazing and beautiful. Todays music is just some talentless douchebag singing to computer generated crap.
Good morning, do you like sixties? Listen and pod cast my program " great sound of 60' s " on the site plumfm. Greeting and made blooper in rock and roll.

@prammaven Sorry, I have no info on the liquids used in that video. This is only a guess, but it looks of metallic paint and milk of magnesia in the mix.
Wow, this is great...Never heard..really nice beats, everythin! Would also love to put up some psychedelic music here on youtube. Anyone who is watching those really nice videos heard of Jonesy, Guru Guru, Grobschnitt, Emtidi, Gracious,Novalis, Greenslade, Joy Unlimited? Really would like to know.
@HoGraz Thanks for the tip! Haven't heard so much of them but it would be great to see. This kind of music must be the best music you can watch live!was on a concert a while ago with an amazing swedish guitarist who played in the group Kebnekaise in the 70's and his new band "Psychedelic dream". I love the feeling you get when it's just a little café or something and you can just sit down, relax and listen :)
I really like this music and other 60's garage music, Psychedelic music has come back onto the market again in recent years if anyone's interested in hearing some amazing contemporary artists youtube search some of these: Sun Araw, Ducktails, Robedoor, Barn Owl, High Wolf.. definatly some of the best music of this decade.
i got expelled from my high school for stealing projectors and trying to project shit like this background. this was recently, i was totally oblivious to the technological advantages of the 2000's
The Remaining Few never made a full album. Like most of these obscure 60's bands, they only put out a single or two. I got this song off a comp. called: "The Human Expression & Other Psychedelic Groups". You can get it on Amazon (they have it listed as "Your Mind Works in Reverse", but it's the same cd)
dude, what's the 2nd song? or better yet, what r all the songs? I'm what you might call "studying" psychedelic rock now, i'm 14. It' kinda hard to find websites and stuff on psychedelic songs.
I've got TONS of psych, now, if you want to hear something, I'll be glad to share it with you! As for my psych project, "The Enpsychlopedia", I'm selling copies for $10.00 a CD. There's 17 so far.
I was 10 and I miss them, too!! 10 years ago, I started to put together a compilation of really good psych music. Back then, I figured it's be 10 to 20 CD's long. At the present, I speculate it ending up to be about 120 full CD's long!! The more good psych tunes I get the longer the project becomes. I'm building number 18 in the series, now.
Great music! But what I'm interested in is the liquids. I have been trying (for years) to figure out how to do liquid projections. Check out my videos here under Acid Rain Light Show. Do you have any information on the formulas used in this? I can do liquids, but nowhere near as good as these.
