Hey Attila, i downloaded Operation Arrowhead just to try it and see if i like it.

As soon as i try to play the game in scenario or multiplayer it just crashes, my friend told me it does the same for him and he bought the game.

Any tips on fixing it?

@MustNotRead well so far i didn't see anything really unrealistic about the futuristic stuff i saw from arma 3. It look more like a scenario where there is a generalization of what is currently in the making.

@MustNotRead . it is still realistic. theyre just using weapons tht are currently in development or weapons that were scratched after too high of prices and things like tht. this game has the PMC mod with the XM8(which was developed but never implemented in large scale. also this game has a UAV version of a Littlebird. also in dev. not yet in combat.

@robotcow28 yeah CoD is what i would call "easy" fun. While Arma series require much more commitment then just joining a game and shooting stuff. So it require to be much more serious and take the time to get into the action. After a build up of tension, bullet start flying and then it's chaos like in the real thing.

@DIVZMinecraft Arma 2 free version allows you to try out the game and if you like it, it's highly recommended to get the full game. But this kind of game may be a little too realistic for peoples taste or capacity in some case.

@fox100cool arma 2 free doesn't contain the campaign. To play the campaign you need to buy the full version. On the other hand it allow you to play multiplayer with friend that actually have the full game.

@Latvietis96 Attila has way more than 20-30 fps in this video, probably around 50-60. But if your asking if its normal to have it in general, then yes, most people only have medium end computers which cannot max this game out and still maintain great fps.

@Latvietis96 you should try arma 2 free, or the demo and see how it goes. But note that sometime it's just a matter of finding the right spot in term of performence and setting. This game can render 10km view distance, but the question is, does it worth the lag it create, so personally i limit my view distance between 3-4km.

@Attila16 Well as far as I read on the internet, Arma 2 OA has a built-in mouse smoothing ): I read they didnt want to become a wrist-flicker like CoD (which is great to me) but I can't turn it off ): and that aiming deadzone, should I put it on or off? Maybe that's it =O

@TheFunkSyndicate the aiming deadzone is a zone on your screen where your gun can move without your body turning arround. so depending how you like it you adjust it, but if you want it like in a regular shooter remove it.
